The committee have decided to purchase a perpetual cup to be presented yearly to the greyhound of the year around Newbridge Track. This will be a yearly presentation for the greyhound with most wins around the circuit. The winner will also receive a trophy with the Dogs name inscribed for keeps.
Rockmount Eagle currently leads the field for this years award, can he be caught ?.

Committee decision top winning greyhound only. Otherwise a case for so many other different category's could be awarded IE. Bitch,Dog,Brood,Sire, fastest winner over different distances etc.The list could go on. So to keep it simple their will only be one greyhound of the year for the track.

Good luck to Eagle....an interesting example of breeding 'in the purple' with Westmead Flight being doubled up through both his dam and sire lines.
