Patch and Kansas what pair!! Luv em both!!! Some of the times General Destini has run over 500m are awesome and Fireball well 5 group ones says it all!! If ppl pass on Patch due to being a stayer they have rocks in there head!! He's got great USA outcross blood to be used here in Australia IMO n I plan to use him and I reckon breeders in Ireland n UK should look at him since he's a son of Where's Pedro and Crash (WP litter brother) is one there top sires and from my understanding US blood crosses very well there too so he has it all.. Can't wait for my girl to go on season!!

Good luck Norm n Janis give Patch n Kansa pat from me!!

Thanks Dale
Like a lot of breeders, we think they both have a lot to offer at stud but we're only in early days of collection. They both held sectional records at Sandown over the 595m, the General first then superseded by Fireball, and as most records go, that has been superseded again. Both boys have run fantastic sectionals at different tracks. Our initial aim was to breed strong competitive dogs that had a substantial length of racing career and we are thrilled that so many individuals of this particular litter made so many Group finals. Destini Fireball & General Destini were the superstars of course, but the litter was nothing short of amazing. Couldn't have done it without Greys Destiny's damline!
(The boys enjoyed their pats thanks!)

Hello Norm,
I remember meeting you and your wife at Derby Lane Florida.
Your dogs have come along way, from your thoughts at that time.
I'm sure your dogs will do as well in the breeding shed as they have shown on the track.
Very Best Of Luck
Doug Riches

Hey Doug
Derby Lane seems a long time ago! Sometimes wish we were still there! We were in learning mode that's for sure. One day Janis is going to try and work out if we actually saw Paddy racing at Orange Park when we were there and met Coach, via Kristin. He probably remembers as he took us out to a Florida rearing place.
Thanks for the good wishes for our boys. Another steep learning curve that you will understand!
Cheers

Yes James, a lot of interest in him over there. After all, he is half American. We are in the beginning stages of organising this. We are starting to jump through hoops and over hurdles!

Absolute champion Destini Fireball. I loved watching him go round

Very best of luck to connections for both him and his brother General Destint at stud

I think he would be very successful in Ireland with his interesting bloodline and strength

Thanks Ray
Well we can honestly say we never thought we'd be in such a position, having raced these champion dogs, standing them at stud and looking internationally. We keep saying........who'd have thought?
They have great international pedigrees and they proved themselves on the track racing the best.
Cheers

Just a thought...is it possible(worthwhile) to ship him to the U.S. for say a year...then back here, if you have enough frozen done here to cover 12 mths away...???

Grant, our boys certainly have a following in the States and our first shipment of frozen leaves Australia soon.
Most unlikely we would ever send either boy over there. Couldn't part with them!!

No doubt a sensible "business" decision - but they mean more to us. And we have turned down multiple offers from China - but that's no surprise.
Thanks for your interest.

Hi James
We now have a new thread on Data for "Destini Lodge" which has a link to our website EXTERNAL LINK and will aim to keep timely updates.
Destini Fireball has a 7 week old litter, with 3 more litters due in the next 6 weeks or so. A few people have bought their vials waiting for their girls to come in season, and we've had many discussions with other breeders who are planning to breed to him and/or his brother General Destini. The shipment to the States took a lot of organising and his first breeding over there took place last month.
cheers
Norm & Janis

An update, Destini Fireball's first litter whelped early September 2014, is coming up to 6 months of age, and we own and rear this delightful oldest litter, so we really know them!! From the moment they walked they have been full on chasing and grabbing. In their DNA that's for sure.Lovely natured and easy to handle, and most of our litter are long-bodied.
Other breeders have reported they love the look of their pups to Destini Fireball, and have commented on their contented nature.

Sisters of Destini Fireball and General Destini have pups at break-in or near break-in age, and we are really pleased with what we have in those. Fully switched on!
cheers
Norm & Janis

Hi Brent
Who is the mum of your pup? Good luck with him. If he can't turn out as good as his dad, we are sure you will settle with half or even quarter as good... we wish you all the best with him.
cheers
Norm & Janis
