Destini Fireball loved racing at The Meadows and indeed 3 of his Group 1 wins (including back to back Superstayers) and a Group 2 were won there.

His first start @ The Meadows was coming 2nd in both heat and final of the Hume Cup in October 2012. He then won over the 600m,won the Group 1 Sale Cup in Dec 2012, returned to racing at the Meadows in 2013,scoring 8 straight wins there in the best of company. His overall stats for Meadows racing was 23 starts: 11 wins(inclu 3Gpx1's & 1Gp2); 4x2nds; 2x3rds; 3x4ths.

Destini Fireball was honoured as The Meadows 2013 Greyhound of the Year and the Club has also honoured him with Special Event Races.

Saturday 21 July 2018 the Destini Fireball Stayers worth $25,000 to the winner will be held and while the very talented brothers Tornado Tears and Rippin' Sam are boxed next to each other, there is plenty of other strong talent in the race and will no doubt provide exciting viewing. The night's programme also includes semi-finals of the Maturity, (where we will be cheering on Barooga Brett (Barcia Bale x Destini Gold). Most importantly, safe racing to all!!

Hobart 599m new Track Record - 33.75sec

Congratulations to Wyndburn Cutie and her connections for displaying her strength and speed to set a new track record at Hobart on 28 March 2019, Race 4 from box 6.

From the Tasracing website:

While Neo Cleo and Go Seek Heidi certainly deserved their 1st and 2nd placings, we would like to offer sincere congratulations to all of the connections of Miss Innings on coming 3rd in the 2019 Sandown Group One Sapphire Crown on 24/05/2019.

CLICK HERE
Last week she flew from box 8 in a sizzling 5.07 first split, also ran the fastest second split of 19.11, but was checked approaching the home turn.

EXTERNAL LINK
All the more special in this Group One Final, Miss Innings was certainly the "senior lady" in the race, having celebrated her fourth birthday in April.

Career to date is 104:14-29-23-10 and $117,108 in prizemoney, with most of her races at city class.
During her career she has been a bit of a stranger to inside boxes, and has spent a lot of time jumping from the middle boxes,4,5,6.
However, she has always proven to be a consistent, honest chaser with a delightful nature.
Miss Innings and some of her litter mates have competed in Group heats, and some Group finals before so it has been a more than handy litter earning about $225,000 in stakes with more to come.

Miss Innings actually gave herself a 4th birthday present when she won at The Meadows in 29.98 just after her birthday early April.

Final Saturday 27th July - $25,000 to winner

Terrific racing at The Meadows tomorrow night, Saturday 17 July 2021. 8 heats of the Group One "Maturity" over 525m......

Plus 2 heats of the Group Three "The Fireball" over 725m.

Unfortunate Covid impacts for all with many interstate dogs unable to contest, but will still be a great night of racing to watch.

Good luck and safe racing for all.
