really so if your going to buy an unraced pup and the owner tells you he trialled 29.20 at sandown on sat and you can buy him for 50,000 you would just buy him without doing your home work.

Im pretty sure no one read this thread and called DMac straight away and brought straws based on this thread.

Im looking at using him myself and after reading this thread was trying to find out more info. And after seeing it was as April fools joke had to laugh.

Tom now you know its a prank you don't have to buy the other 2 straws mate.

Settle Tom, Darren laughed because he got caught on April Fools day. Thought it was a good one myself and think Darren is a good sport over it. No harm done.

I think it was a great joke....done in the usual Aussie spirit....on a day that if it offended anyone.....they will see the light (eventually) and forgive those that were clever enough to have a go.
The main thing IMO is....it was a joke that was not intended to hurt anyone in anyway.
Good onya Simon.....I'll be keeping an eye on you this time next year.
10 outa 10 for effort.
You got a bite & a couple of nibbles.
Good 2 c.

PS.....And for those that got caught......Remember its just a joke.

On a lighter note.....I got my son (15yrs) a beauty this morning, his pick from Sulzanti X Break Even litter which he named Clubber (and nicknames him dudder due to his poor strike rate) was engaged at Devonport yesterday, the meeting was cancelled and I rang the Mrs from work and told her to tell him the meeting was rescheduled at Launceston and Clubber won by 12 lengths breaking the track record. Excitingly searching for the replay on his tablet he couldn't find it and the Mrs said it should be yesterday's date, no result...^well whats todays date?^ She asked ^the first^ he replied ^the first of what?^ and then the penny dropped lol....
