Sandro I think he would complement his cousin Paddy Whacker but at this stage I have no plans to try to get him here yet but in time I would love to have him in my Stud.
I will say I am working on a couple of Superstars who are All Americans and track record holders still racing over there.

Giving it the eyeball test, if I had to choose one or the other to handle in a match race, and I wanted to win it, I'd take Avatar over Bella Infrared.

Big call Dennis I would not be able to decide on what one to pick but dogs like those two boys would give some of our best dogs wind burn....To see SH Avatar winning the Breeders Classic was just Awesome.

Not a big call at all, Kevin. The dogs at Southland are WAY overhyped, imo. And that's not to denigrate the red dog. His career speaks for itself. And on your big galloping tracks, Paddy Whacker would have been otherworldly. I think you made a real shrewd choice bringing him to your country.

People can bag a dog or try and turn a go cart into a Ferrari by talking it up but
SH Avatar is the hottest dog in America and with better stats than Bella Infrared and he's won more prize money he's on fire.
Now he's from a full sister to Paddy Whackers Dam and Paddy Whacker was a all American as well.
I'll talk this family up with no hidden motives because I wanted his straws here before it was possible to get them.
My opinion, Would you use Flying penske ?
Than this family will produce dogs in the same mould,,,, fast, strength, first past the post.
SH AVATAR "IS" the hottest dog running in America and Paddy is here in Australia.

SH AVATAR... is having a crack at the 2013 $500,000 Iowa Breeders Classic at Bluffs Run so if he can pull this off he will be the only dog to ever go back to back .. What a fantastic dog who races on the number one SPEED TRACK IN THE USA ..

Kevin I know you stand the dog and don't want to sound like I'm pushing your dog on your behalf but Bella Infrared compared to SH Avatar...

The tracks they race on and if they ever moved tracks ? How do they compare ?

Bluffs run is toughest speed track in the US
Southland is the highest money track but the highest money track has changed in past couple of years and not so long ago some tracks where on the same money to each other.

If SH AVATAR AND BELLA INFARED raced today each other you would think each dog would beat each other on their home tracks INFARED is a great dog and so is AVATAR and for people here in Australia to say INFARED is better is just plain IGNORANT.

Maybe people should look at Both Dam lines and she how many Track record holders and All Americans have come out of it.

That would certainly be a major achievement

He is a great dog. I have been reading plenty about him on the NGA site.

$500,000 Iowa Breeders Classic at Bluffs Run - quarter final round

Defending champion and the No. 1-ranked greyhound at Bluffs Run, SH Avatar with a record so far this year of (51-30-7-9, is second in points with 36, but had trouble throughout his quarterfinal test. Avatar was blocked early and stumbled on the way to a fourth-place finish. He will need at least a fifth-place finish in the semifinal to reach the 40-point plateau that it usually takes to make the championship race.

At their peak, I don't think SH Avatar could beat Bella Infrared at Southland in a two-dog race. I also think Infrared would have a hard time beating Avatar at Bluffs. Horses for courses.

That said, Southland is more like an Aussie track than any American track.

Bella Infrared is a direct descendant of Michigan Vicky, who has her own chapter (with Westy Colonel) in 'Great Names And Pedigrees' .. below are some of the dogs from the same damline that have made the FIRST All American team of their year and there may be more that I have missed ... also I'm not sure how many others made the second team as I have not really followed it closely.

2012 All American Captain and Rural Rube winner - BELLA INFRARED-Bella Iconic--Bella Vanessa--Ps Raindoll--Ps Rainy--Ps Skelly--WP Mayonaise--Kinto Girl--Michigan Vicky

2012 All American - OYA BILLY BOB--Oya Cranberry--Oya TazfootWaitintogowild--Waitin to Exhale--Spell Weaver--WM Bones--Vicky West--Michigan Vicky

2004 All American - RA BLAZER--Redbabybrindle--Waitin to Exhale--Spell Weaver--WM Bones--Vicky West--Michigan Vicky

Good luck to SH AVATAR in the final of the $500,000 Iowa Breeders Classic at Bluffs Run.

Bluffs run is considered to be the toughest track to race at in the USA...

After winning 3 of his four heats he goes into the final in top gear .

If Avatar can win it again this year then he will become the only dog to ever go back to back .
This Champions race record stands at.. 100 Starts 58 wins 13 seconds 14 thirds.
