Peter,

Yeah, not too bad at all! All the best hope she has a belly full for you this time around.

As an aside, I put forth My Bro Fabio as a sire suggestion to the owner of this bitch, but I think obtaining a straw may be problematical, not to mention somewhat pricey, (as Matt mentioned).

Yes they are very difficult to obtain, we were after another straw to do this but couldnt find one https:/ CLICK HERE And as a result ended up doing this

Interesting some of the crosses your mating brings up David, weve just had this litter

Hi Peter

Fabio's son, Spring Bridge who was a very fast animal and race dvery well in Victoria when trained by Jason Thompson, has sired some very fast pups from limited matings and only 3 litters to hit the track

He would be a nice option if you wanted Fabio blood

Dont follow the USA but if racing is dying, does that mean its easier and cheaper to buy a quality brood and import into Aust ?

If any Australian sire in recent years was going to be suited to USA racing, Fabio would have always been my first choice

The generally have speed and strength

I know MBF is flavour of the month with Wow Shes Fast and Stagger Out Lee going so well. But fair dinkum his percentages are disgraceful. He is the worst percentage sire in both Overall Winners and City Winners amongst the top 50 sires in the country. He is half the average of his peers. He can produce good ones, but the ratio of slow ones is pitiful.

Thats where everyone gets lost in the overall picture. Rather than on an individual basis. I look at both WSF and SOL, the pedigrees have fireworks going off everywhere. Id have been straight to MBF with those dams. Just as I myself bred a real good one to MBF for the same reason.

Even Fernando Bale is batting at 16%, but to a Bekim Bale bitch its in the 40% range. You need to look at exactly what you need to add to your dam and then find whichever sire contains those ingredients. Why we see ALL sires have good ones.

If you look at ok sire Warrens Flyer producing a great litter of Mystery Idle, Willjara, Rocking Romero etc, then the 3rd litter a repeat mating producing champion stayer in Red Mystique. Because the dams pedigree screamed wheres Warren. Regardless of his overall stats!

Nathan - a city winner at 38% per litters born. A good 1/2 dozen litters have just started to race. So, it could potentially go up.

Not surprising when you look at his best progeny. Even those ones not with Barcia. A good many have a lot of Barcia lines in the dam.

One great Bekim Bale race / brood bitch has been put to FB multiple times and totally swayed those figures. It's a completely irrelevant stat.

That does play its part, but just a rough highest rated Bekim Bale 2nd offspring to Fernando Bale has 58 of the top 200 at 30% - take out 20 off them being out of Tears Siam, which you could do for any top brood to any sire and then its 19%, but I suspect its higher than 19%, because when I did it more thoroughly, I had it at 44%, not 30%.

Either way Fernando Bale, to the general population is at 16%.. So, Bekim Bale bitches are outperforming the general population to FB. Slip Sliding (27: 2-2-6; Pm $3,577; Ipswich 30.94, 31.19) was a very ordinary racebitch and produced quality. So, plenty to like about Bekim broods.

Darren said before we went to Fabio that his stats to bitches with Rumble Spirit up close in the pedigree was enormous.
Frieda proved him to be correct, and we backed that theory with our money.
Worked a treat, and Im glad because its easier to kill off a dam line than it is to make it thrive.
Plenty know that as they no longer breed, and yet continue to criticise the breeding theories of others.
Go figure ;)

I don't want to hyjack this post, but our most recent pup is sitting on a lounge watching TV. Talk about a walker the poor darling. Possibly our slowest ever.

Is that really you Scott or has Darren created another fake account like he got caught doing a few years ago? ;)

Best you PM me if you really want info.

Paul, if youre questioning my identity, you obviously believe the team at Data are liars as theyve identified me, so I dare say you owe them an apology.
No need for a PM, just let us all know if your latest breeding exploits as you constantly tell people what theyre doing wrong, so its only fair to prove your expertise.
It cant be hard to name the best dog youve bred in, lets say, the past decade.
Dont divert attention.
Dont avoid the question.
Just give us the dogs name.
You portray yourself as a breeding expert so this should be a no brainer ;)
Drumbeat, everyone.Paul will do EVERYTHING but answer the question hahahaha

Have a nice evening champ.
