This sire is getting a "bum wrap". Does throw size and leg and a calmness, which seems at odds with their feral ways in the pen.( hole digging fence and kennel destroyers).Ours are all sold now, so no need to blow the trumpet. If ours turn out to be no good, it wont be the sire, it will be because that's that's the way things are. Ours go around the bull ring, and people ask, "whataretheybymate". I then watch a whole litter of Fernandos or Barcia's s embarrass themselves, but can't bag the former or the latter!! I remember 'Keen Student" from 50 yrs ago, every one bagged him. Threw more good dogs than i've had baked beans. Fernando's figures will start dropping , simply because everyone assumed and paid excessively for the assumption that he would throw winners to a Chihuahua.

Keep bagging Fernando mate people have been for the past year or two. And he just keeps throwing winners after winners. ( and that wont stop and day soon ).
MBF is getting his fair share of winners. What I like about this dog was his hard chase and could run the hands of the clock.
I would have no issue on using him again.

Tritt Tritt's ptp 23.99 was airborne Mark.

This blokes come back really well, going on those figs.

Lets hope theres a big race or two in him I think the only thing that will hold him back is his lack of early pace Ryan

From Roger Clark's Greyhound Weekly:
"Last week, ending 3 February, there were 17 metropolitan meetings in the six states, and the most successful sires at those meetings were as follows :
40 Barcia Bale. 21 Fernando Bale. 13 Magic Sprite. 7 Dyna Double One, Fabregas and Paw Licking. 6 Cosmic Rumble and Kinloch Brae*. 5 KC And All* and My Bro Fabio."
MBF continues to track along very nicely, especially with his 500m stats.

Theres always more then 1 way to approach breeding , someone will come up with proven lines to dams and dams dams or sires sire lines to Fabios
Personally I wouldnt worry about niches with the bitch , his traits are so strong and obvious that I would be focusing on the characteristics of the sire more so
I would be searching for speed and bullish or borderline animal characteristics to counter balance Fabios sometime inward reported characteristics
And dont come on here and tell me how perfect yours are ! And its not a sledge on fabio either , its a reported fact that they arent (as a whole ) regarded as an over the top breed like DDO in comparison ! Also not a sledge ..... its just how their make ups are more then likely .
Id would use sires such as Banjo boy and Zambora brockie or Dyna double one These have no inhibitions and could go along way to assisting or eradicating any minor flaws
Good luck hope it helps
Now Let the biased bullshyt begin .......

Magic sprite and el grand senor lines are usually pretty good to add a bit of fire also. Only going off what I've seen but I'll be very surprised if Aston Dee Bee doesn't add a bit of fire too, they are fearless

I actually think Fabregas bitches or bitches with Fabregas will do very well with him, as well as the 2 that Matt has mentioned
