Four weeks from today are the elections and this has been a real David vs Goliath.. They have raised over 2.5 million dollars and we have 75 thousand. However, we have done a great job utilizing the funds. They will have an advertising blitz that we won't be able to compete with, but we will continue to get the truth out and out them for the scammers they are.

Are the dog owners breeders trainers active in the fight Dick it certainly sounds as if you need monumental support NOW.

Someone like Charlton Heston or perhaps Clint Eastwood and I am not being facetious. They have clout.

People who are truly grounded and understand where we came from not attempting to engineer where we are being sent.

Mate I hope the truth prevails and the good citizens do truly believe in personal freedom as your Declaration of Independence sets out and are not hoodwinked by the ANTI SCUM money rakers.

People who race dogs are different to people who course pets???
I don't get it you don't get it but brainwashed sheep seem to see the distinction.

Appeal to their intelligence on mass scale a spokesperson of high visibility in the community/country.
You must know celebrities and politicians ,past and present, that will endorse the truths.

The big name dog owners were waiting for the NGA to get their PAC, political action committee, up and running. That finally happened about 10 or 15 days ago. They immediately got some good size contributions from the some of the bigger operations along with very big contributions from the NGA and FGA.

With a PAC you are required to file your donors name and amount of contribution and also all your expenditures every week or 10 days. So far their PAC shows they have over 300k in donations, but no expenditures. I'm sure their next filing will show some expenditures so we'll know what they are doing with the donations.

I would guess a good portion of that money will go towards advertising.

This has been a great help as people see so many greyhound adoption groups support us.

Jeff, from Paint the Trail, went from being AR to our biggest advocate once he was asked to come in the kennels and video whatever he wanted. He saw that the HSUS and G2K were lying.

Thanks Wayne
The link requires a bit of searching however the Florida bill Amendment 13 to ban Wagering on dog races and to prohibit any dog races in Florida were there is Wagering, was passed in the affirmentive 68% to 31%
Not a good outcome obviously for the greyhound industry and a sneaky way to kill off the industry.
Not banning greyhound racing outright, but absolutely preventing Wagering on greyhound racing
A victory for the Casino industry
Not the news we wanted to hear.

Only banning of wagering on greyhounds in Florida

Florida residents can still bet on-line

JUST SEEN THIS ON WIKIPEDIA

On November 6, 2018, Florida residents passed Amendment 13, which will phase out commercial dog racing in Florida by 2020.[61] Supporters of the amendment report that greyhounds used in racing spend the majority of their time locked inside cramped cages, when not racing. Dogs are also frequently drugged, injured, die of exposure,[62] exhaustion or injuries,[63] and many more are killed when retired.[64] In 2017, an investigation by the animal protection organization PETA exposed The Pet Blood Bank in Cherokee, Texas, where 150 greyhounds formerly used in racing were living in filth and squalor.[65] [66] The animals were used as blood "donors", and were being kept in solitary confinement with no exercise or companionship, and many had open wounds and were emaciated. Public outcry led to the dogs being surrendered to adoption programs, and the National Greyhound Association barred members from directly sending greyhounds to blood banks.[67]

Utter rubbish.

PETA should be ashamed. They euthanize 95% of the animals they take in.
