Yesterday Lincolnshire Greyhound Trust homed their 1,906th different greyhound and take sole ownership of the UK's number one homing group in numerical terms on Greyhound-data. If you want to see the list in order click on 'Adopted' twice and the numerical list comes up with highest total first.

We are 9th overall in the world with just 8 American groups ahead of us, but have a long way to go to catch up to the 4,329 that Greyhounds as Pets of N.E. Florida have homed!!!

Now before I am jumped on I am well aware that some other groups/GT branches may have homed more, although not too many I think, but they do not use G-D to record their numbers.

I would like to thank everyone who has helped in any way to enable us to reach this tally and in particular our terrific group of volunteers over the last 21 years, and I look forward to the next 94 greyhounds finding homes and beyond.

We have been fortunate in recent times to have taken on two wonderful sets of people and kennels in the South of England so can cover a much wider area and are always looking for new homes.
