He's over the first hurdle Larry, gee he looks good when he
forgets about the crowd, I can see the potential that's for sure.
Great news about your health mate, one step forward never backwards!

Good to see you're in better health Larry.
Sorry to disagree fellas, but Nick Kyrgios is an adult that acts like a 2 year old. He's a bad example to young sportsman & regardless of talent he will be remembered for his tantrums. If he's got any self respect than he'll take a good look at himself & start showing a bit more maturity on the court.

Yes, good to see you in better health Larry, may you quickly be back to your very best.

Well I am an unashamed KNOCKER..... I have said it before and I'll say it again...he is a nut case, what he does is just un - Austrailan, he simply doesn't try, he disrespects his fans, he disrespects his sponsors, he disrespects his supporters, he disrespects Australian tennis and he disrespects HIMSELF!
He deserves to be banned from the game for at least 12 months and go find a job and see if any boss or company will put up with his infantile spoilt brat attitude...better still, just GO AWAY!!!

On reflection, should I be surprised that we accept such tantrums and seemingly outlandish behaviour and shocking antics by our sports people...the PC society are successfully under mining our national day Australia Day and wan't it removed or at worst changed. even Lamb and our national flag is being lampooned, disrespected and burned. Need I even mention the deliberate push by the PC to BAN the working mans racing sport, GREYHOUND RACING.

AUSTRALIA is no longer a land of the free with a passion for genuine goodwill, honour, honesty, respect, patriotism, integrity and true democracy.
It's truly an internal manipulation of the populace and we are the sad victims that are expected to accept the changes being insidiously fed to us silently and intravenously!

30 years or so past, Nick Kyrgios and his like would have been lambasted and suspended, any 2nd offence would have seen him heavily fined and banned from the sport....yes Australia has changed and acceptance of such behaviour with excuses is there for all to see and reflect upon.

Nick, you have been naughty! Go stand in the naughty corner for 5 min. AUST TENNIS ASSOC!

Sorry Lleyton your wasting your time with this self centred egotistical, pompous brat. No coach will last long with this Turd. needs a serious reality check, removal from his protective Tennis Bubble would be a good start
Happy to hear Larry things are looking good!

Garry Lyon screws his best mates ex wife and keeps it a secret. When it is found out, he runs from the media and claims depression. He is left alone.

I watched the whole game last night and I know exactly what happened to this kid.
He has serious issues with his mental state. I saw it unfold before it unfolded.
Buddy Franklin suffers but Buddy Franklin can hide his state behind 17 other team mates. Kyrgios has nowhere to hide on the court.
He also has no coach, that's his choice.
All he wanted to do last night, once the pressure came, was get the hell out of there. The crowd tried to lift him, he hated hearing it. He served an ace and was pissed off because that is one more point he had to stay out there for. He has massive issues.

I am not defending his on court display because it was disgraceful and bloody embarrassing to watch. Commentators Jim Courier and Lleyton Hewitt had no words to describe it. That's because they have not felt the emotions that Kyrgios was feeling last night.
I have. I know exactly what he was going through and I know exactly how it can be fixed.
But he needs to pack his bags and piss off from the scene for at least 12 months first and he needs to let people in.
Then when he is ready, ring someone like Ivan Llendl to coach.

Like I said, I'm not defending his on court display.
But I'm never going to write him off as a spoilt little shit who needs a kick up the arse because it is so much deeper than that.

Piss off Nick.
Get fixed.
Nothing else matters.

No doubt Quinny he has a Mental Problem. Kid he is not! can own Houses, Cars, Marry, go to war, Vote. Make his own decisions. Getting HELP is one of those options. Vanity, he loves the attention
notoriety money. All natural, throwing games over some trivial tidbit is not. Will lose sponsors in droves, the Aust public has had enough. Yes Quit Tennis for 12 months, seek the Proper Medical help needed! Before the Betting Agencies take him to the cleaners, Throwing Matches!
Talented yes! Help needed yes! Only Nick can make that decision!

Actually Tezza, the Australian public who hate tennis anyway, have had enough.
I have never heard such vocal support as I did last night.
The tennis loving fans are behind him, even though his on court displays are woeful and embarrassing.

Funny thing is, all through Lleyton Hewitts career, his parents were there at every match. Then his wife joined the set, then his kiddies.
And the Aussie 'public' used to bag his parents for being 'controlling'
But I bet they talked him out of buying fast cars and flash houses etc, until he was mature enough to handle it all.

That is clearly missing from Kyrgios' life and what Ray said is right.
Modern day kids who have never felt the wooden spoon or the garden hose or the leather belt or the ruler or the gumboot up the clacker, are becoming a generation of pansies who can't handle stuff when stuff gets a bit heated.

Spot on Jamie, as my wife has Dementia I now prepare every meal and whilst at my Camden property last week, I went and spent $85 on a whole snapper and boned and filleted it as well as egg and bread crumbing it before serving it up to the kids and 2 granddaughters, one of which said "is that FISH" when her dad said "yes try it it is beautiful", she angrily pushed it away and said "I am not eating fish", her mum said "why, you have never tried fish, try it it is better than chicken" the granddaughter yelled "No, I won't eat it it is sh@t" and got up to get a can of baked beans out of the cupboard,... With her mum protesting her father jumped to her defence and said "leave her alone, she doesn't like fish and therefore doesn't have to eat if if she doesn't want to"'...the parents then kept arguing while the kid dug into her baked beans.

The moral here is just how times have changed...in our day not only were we expected to and did eat was put in front of us, if for some reason we had a genuine dislike for the particular food, we at least had the manners and grace to apologise to the cook for not eating it and we certainly didn't throw the food aside without a word of thanks....that's typical of what is happening in our changing society and the fault really lies with us. As we have allowed it to happen.

Kyrgios acts like a spoilt brat.

No coach/trainer wants to touch him due to his volatility & self centred attitude

So much talent going to waste, he will only get worse and then fade away.

Until he learns to be humble and to accept advice from someone wiser than him and work to a disciplined regimen, he is finished as a force on the Court.

I'm backing him to win a slam before he's 27.
You cant say no coach will touch him Sandro. Coaches dont just look for the best (like most greyhound trainers).
Plenty of coachrs enjoy the challenge of resurrecting a career.
Ivan Llendl would be perfect.
Or Marat Safin.

ur not wrong sandro,
I agree with McEnroe, its ok to show your emotions, but to not give 100% is a joke, his mind is like a 200 ranked player, but could be the best in the world talent wise, imo he doesn't deserve a place on tour.
give his spot to someone who gives 100%,he's a nonny..
I hope your rite Jamie, but I doubt he will still be playing in 6yrs.

Possibly you are right. We all know he has the talent to go to the top.

He just has a bad attitude to his sport, his life and other people.

He can criticize John McEnroe all he likes but at least to use the term from the Court Case in the movie 'North Country' - Mac was a 'red ice player'

He played his guts out and left them on the Court, despite his ranting and tantrums

Kyrgios is a 'yellow ice player' When things get tough for him he gives up and uses every excuse under the sun.

If he is injured he should just retire hurt like most normal people do.

I don't believe he is physically injured at all. He has mental issues that guy.

A decent coach will always look for talent but they also want triers.

Perhaps I may be wrong to say that no coach will touch him, but will they put with up his attitude in the long run

Time will tell
