Only 3 gone, Smith, Warner and Bancroft, Lehman has been identified as an innocent party and stays as coach, how long for is problematical because he cannot be coach if not in control???
Replacements...Matt Renshaw, Joe Burns & Glenn Maxwell.
There has to be more to this story than has surfaced so far, methinks there is much more to be aired, whilst Warner was pushed beyond the limit and obviously has retaliated, how the captain, Smith, went along with this without over ruling, and how the rest of the team either knew nothing or followed along like Lemmings with their heads in the sand is beyond belief...how the coach didnt know or was not in the room is extremely hard to swallow and he should not be there period just on that evidence!!
Australian cricket should now burn the bails and put them in an urn so we can now play future ashes series between South Africa & Australia...lest we forget???

It was all over F/B yesterday Ray, Lehman was gone! Surprise Surprise, what happened to the "We" leadership group! Bancroft after 8 tests in the leadership group? Just leaves Davey Boy! Cover up at it's worst! The finger pointing will begin when they get home.

Funny how Maxwell finally gets a shot now that old sticky fingers smithy is gone.

What they did was not only stupid, it was disgraceful, that said, they have received their penalties and they are very harsh, not only costing them millions but probably ending their careers. They should now be left to ponder their own futures in their own private solitude, not the public verbal abuse and anger that is being directed towards them, the sight of Smith being booed and bullied at the airport in Johannesburg is not warranted and I feel the same will be directed at both when they arrive in Australia today. This treatment, albeit to a lesser extent, will be with them for many years to come and is a penalty that they certainly should not have to suffer, for they will forever have their own private torment of that moment of madness and what they have done.

True Ray : Should of thought about that before they acted. NEXT lot will I bet! Don't think they will need to go to the Dole Office yet. Smith's IPL $2.4 mil, Warner's was more I believe? for 6 weeks work. I cant feel sorry them. Warner has been a pain in the a#*e for ACB for a couple of years now. Lehman should of acted, and Walked.

Hi Ray totally agree with you I am sick of reading and seeing all news on all types of media about this event, What do the public and media want if Smith and Warner goes and HANGS Themselves will they all be happy. Totally UN AUSTRALIAN I feel very sad for the families of these players the low lives that are feeding of these stories are doing so much harm to the innocent families. Let he of no sin throw the first rock. This will be my one and only comment on this subject.

The coach and Cricket Australia are ultimately responsible for the culture that has led to this, but they are keeping their heads down and letting people view the players like they are operating in a vacuum without anyone responsible for overseeing the game. Can you imagine being part of a sport where the people who are supposed to oversee it join the lynch mob.

Here's something that irks me.... Steve Smith, who I love as a cricketer, does a press conference to apologize and say whoops. So why can't he just look into the camera and say it from the heart? These scripted apologies, written by spin doctors, have no sincerity to them whatsoever. In fact I'd love to see the paper he was reading from to see if there was CRY HERE written on it. But give him credit. He could have done a Garry Lyon and pretended to have depression.
