Remember this number , tell all the old people you know, If you get a call from this number just hang up, It's an indian scammer trying to fleece people of money saying they owe from an electricity bill..

My mobile would get that farking number ringing me 3 to 4 times a week but nobody is there for me to tell them to fark off. You can always tell scams they use computer i-net generated dialing as there is about a 5 second delay before the Indian bastards start trying to speak English. A Gerhard Shoether rings about the same time, my evening after meal nap time (I'm in that old catagory Mal has alluded to), his English is slightly better but after the same thing "MONEY" for dogs. - Macwollie

Mal, we have had several telling us that our phone will be turned off the next day, if we don't put the NBN connection on in the next 24 hours. Then the voice tells us to press one to talk to an operator to organise it. Needless to say, our phone is still working perfectly and I never did dial one.

Never answer any calls unless you know who it is. If it's important, they will leave a message. This is the world we live in.
Same with emails. If you don't know them, delete.

The Reverse Australia site has a lot of information about listing numbers, I dont know anything about them but there has been a lot of comment both for and against over the years. Personally, I am not sure about them, it seems to have some advantages but I will continue to just not answer unrecognised numbers. this is an 8 year old article on them from the SMH, again, the service appears to be legal, its up to each person to form their own opinion...
