Janis : And Me and Bobby McGee, is in my top 5 off all time! John Lennon's: Imagine probably my no 1.
I can remember back to the mid 80's, going to parties where you were required to take a CASSETTE of your top 5 songs. And sing them . After a dozen beers (Pre Karaoke days) ha

Primary School was KISS.
Secondary School was VAN HALEN.
Early 20s was SOUNDGARDEN.
Early 30s was NINE INCH NAILS.
Early 40s was KEITH URBAN.
Now I can't stand any of them.
But greatest of all time as far as impact.
Beatles. Led Zeppelin. Bob Marley and the Wailers Nirvana. Guns n Roses.

No I failed because my teachers in year 9 were teaching me things I knew in year 6. So I tuned out.
My top 5 aren't personal favorites, just the 5 bands that changed the scene.
I'm actually into Bob Marley right now.

Not a fan Terry but I don't mind them, I love nearly all music, I grew up an ELVIS fan and had every single he made during his early years, also in those days, Gene Vincent, Buddy Holly, Frank Sinatra, Mario Lanza, Doris Day, Jerry Lee Lewis, The Eagles, Marty Robbins, Cliff Richard, Barbara Streisand, the list goes on and on.... Today, as my wife with dementia has naturally developed a penchant for music I play 'SPOTIFY' on the soundbox at least 3 to 4 hours per day of every genre of music ever invented, even Andre Rieu, who she loves and I am partial too as well, mind you the good old 'rock & roll' still gets some airplay, (lol)

This album by Harry Nilsson is still one my very favourites Terry, so my music variety is wide. I bought it 45 years ago and still play it today on SPOTIFY. Harry was a rock/pop singer and made this record as a bit a joke but I it shows off his remarkable voice and his version of songs like 'This Is All I Ask' & 'As Time Goes By' are up with the best renditions ever, in my opinion though. (lol)

Just poking you Ray! to get a response.(re: Seekers) Of course everyone loves a successful Aussie Band. Also O.N.John.
If nothing is worth watching on "Fox", i often switch to the Music channels preference for the "Best of the 70's". lol
Like yourself i love most genre, except RAP! Just my age i hope.
