They actually have a better body of work that is acknowledged by Led Zep fans as their greatest......it's called Dazed and Confused.

Stairway does not compare imho.

Neil Sadaka sure he has his place but no Led Zep surely

Dazed and Confused probably very close to the best song Ive ever heard.

Have to agree, Dazed and Confused is on top of the LZ collection.

Jizzlobber by Faith No More is musically brilliant, although lyrically disturbing

So you're saying big Jim Martin is as good as Jimmy Page ?

May not be much difference, Page at his best played with more clarity maybe and was busier?

No I'm more talking about the way the whole song is put together. The horror movie start, the screeching vocal, the over the top distortion chords, the heavy grinding build up to the 'I am what Ive done' bit and then the pipe organ hymn music to finish.
Horrible lyrics about a masturbation addiction but the song is built so well, I imagine it was done in one take. Too brilliant to be sat down and over worked.

Another one is 'Shedding Skin' by Pantera.

Both totally demonic of course. Parental discretion advised.

Ray, why would you do that?
You are the one that says we can't discuss religion on this forum.
Now you bring Jesus into it.
So I will obviously reply in great detail, but let it be known that Ray Brown is enquiring about the nature of Jesus.

Anyway, to answer your question (you can ask Him yourself soon), no Jesus would not approve, which is why I stated that the lyrics were horrible and demonic.
My comments were that the songs were very well put together, which is something that Led Zep were brilliant at doing. It has been said many many times on this forum that I don't listen to that music anymore, since I met Christ. Just like I no longer drink alcohol, but I can still rate every bottle of whiskey in Dan Murphys.

Jesus would also not approve of Puff the magic dragon. Magic or sorcery, witchcraft, divination, clairvoyance, astrology etc, all uses the powers of satan. And satan is represented in the bible as a dragon.
Jesus also would not approve of Hotel California and its demonic claim that the beast cannot be killed.
I can't comment on Tutti Frutti because I have no idea what it means. It could be Aramaic for Son of God.

Geezzess Browny why would you do that?

The "Bible" is full of Magic, Wizardary, Witchcraft etc.
The Loaves & Fishes? Parting the Red Sea, Turning water into wine,
Walking on Water, Returning from being dead, Returning sight etc.

The Greatest story ever! (Just my opinion)

Get back on topic, LEAD HEADS or should that now be Dead Heads? With the Music being thrown up.

Huss, your expert opinion on the bible is about as valuable as Bruce's expert opinion on greyhounds. And it's not just your opinion, it's the opinion of all the lost.

There are 2 sources of power in the universe. One is from the Spirit of God and the other is from the spirit of darkness.
And the prince of darkness disguises himself as light so it's very important to know the word and test all spirits.

All the things you mentioned are merely signs. The greatest miracle of all is the salvation of one's soul.
And the greatest deception of all is believing that going to church equals salvation.

Thanks Browny for giving me an opportunity to preach. You have made my day.

Good song Huss.
Story of a young boy who has the boldness to take on the devil and defeat him. Shows how easily the devil can be defeated.
Unfortunately, 40 Billion are too scared to take him on.

Jesus tells us that the majority are going to hell Huss.

'you can enter Gods Kingdom only by the narrow gate. The highway to hell is broad, and its gate is wide for the many who choose that way. But the gateway to life is very narrow and the road is difficult, and only a few ever find it.'
