G'day Grant, nice to hear from you again, how have you been?

What do you think of the Dragons sacking Paul McGregor with only weeks to go in the competition, I know the Dragons are not travelling well but with no hope of getting through this year, they could have replaced him at the end of the season,

This is a crazy season, Coaches are being brushed left right and centre, my mob The Rabbits have changed coaches 3 times over the past few years with no change in the results and we currently have one of the games legend coaches, so what's the problem?
Perhaps they should be looking at the administration and player culture at the clubs because 'old dogs' are hard to teach new habits, maybe a complete clean out of the decision makers, and reviewing long term high income contracts would be the better option., speaking of OPTIONS, perhaps say a 2 year with a 2 year option might be the way to go with these big time large contract players, at least they would have to perform week in and week out to have to OPTION continued!

G'Day Ray...
Enjoying retirement here...got redundancy and left Dapto for Lake Conjola
Had a nice cheque in my hand and said to the 'Boss' this could buy us a very nice dog...no need to post what she said...end of...so no dogs and if it wasn't for Covid, would be cruising many times a year...
As far as the Dragons are concerned, can't see a premiership for many years. Mary was a victim of boardroom mayhem they have at the moment...though I'm happy to see someone outside the Dragons system get a go, that got us our last Trophy...
Stay Safe to ALL...Good luck and injury free runs for your dogs...

Yes,it's the BLUES turn for a good run of wins and the way the QLD teams are right now, they look to be in big trouble with little time to blend a Side together when the Interstate players return for the games.

Retirement is fantastic mate, being a workaholic I thought that I would hate retirement and get bored stupid, that's why I unfortunately left it too late to do it.
Still I am making hay while the sun shines and it's a great life.

Good to see the optimism Ron(lol)...I think that they might need at least 2 or 3 years to rebuild though.
I should now be a converted MAROON myself as I live here now, but you understand how it is, ofcourse you do, you are a QUEENSLANDER!(lol)

But blood runs deep and I am a born and bred BLUEblood, I thiink that you would understand that Ron.. (LOL,LOL,LOL)

Let's just say RESPECT, not fan, I respect his ability and talent, but he is definitely no WORLDS BEST BATSMEN, up there with the best opener of his era though, no question.

Will we have a test series this year with the v1rus scare, or will less viewers and paying clients cause delays!

I don't know about the tests Ron, but cricket like all sports will doing it very tough either way, as the crowds are there and staging big games are running at a loss without major sponsors and broadcasting deals, with the economy in tatters, the sponsors are doing it very tough also.
The players in all sports, like it or not, are going to have to face reality and realise that they are beingoverpaid and have to be prepared to take big cuts to help their sports survive.
Look at Rugby Union, QANTAS is copping plenty of abuse at the moment, but honestly, they are in deep trouble in line with the entire travel industry which is harder hit than most, There will be many more sponsors pull the pin very shortly, I would think.

Yes Ray, things don't look good at the moment. With all the sport that channel seven is advertising, makes you wonder if it will be
able to fulfill the agendas!
