Big Kev & Joan of Arc & The Poet.....it's time for me to "click my mount up " this week,i intend to be right on your'e heels as the 600 approaches, like a lot of the jockeys at last week's Mooney Valley meetings, there hasn't been much initiative shown.....be warned,lol...
Tricky little weekend with scratchings and track conditions playing a big part in selections. Simon the Likeable throws a red herring into the works with his football (both codes) comp just to put the shits up The Convener who had a enough on his plate trying to decipher late scratching changes with out adding more tips to bugger things up so he fired in a protest vote on the Rugy League one. BTW Simon the Likeable can I take Harry & Tash to win The farking Block when you post that comp in a fortnight. Congrats go to the Stipendiary Steward Daryl on being the sole Cox Plate winner ( I had to mention that or he would have me on report ). Finally spare a thought for The Convener in last place a massive fall considering he won the innagural comp last year oh well like the Pastor will have to cheer home a roughie or two started today but it lead and run last me thinks it was used as a pacemaker for its european stable mate Sir Dragonet and it worked a treat. - The Convener.

pmsl.....I actually think we've either gone too early(def the poets case lol) or been left in front when the field has eased and i'm shit*ing myself having to do the donkey work carting the field to the wannabe Secretariat.......not going too early is the key m8. g/l.
sensational win Tor.....Tigers too fast and extremely furious for the pussy's. Dusty probably the most brilliant player I've ever seen( a franction ahead of gelignite Jimmy). Great team !

Good to see you blokes have good senses of humour,ha ha ha,but this Saturday will be a tough day both on the punt & the tip,but I think there is going to be plenty of " overs ",& more than likely,a few results that may surprise some, best of luck to all & sundry.
( Hopefully,more thought put into ride's this week,ie ; Race tempo & not to crucify horse's by sitting 3 & 4 wide from the 1600 to the 400 ).

I'd have to agree. His impact is so huge, one touch is all he needs and he just never misses his targets, whether it is a shot at goal or finding a team-mate at any angle and at any distance. Nearly impossible to tackle, you can tag him out of a game but as I said, he only needs a few touches and changes the game. I would have Michael Voss slightly ahead of Jimmy Hird and I also rated Paul Kelly in that category, but Dusty is in his own league. And he's only just hitting his prime.....
