I like the sound of that Ray. It just means he's not getting into those 20/20 bad habits and he'll be primed for the up coming Test series

That's if the Pommies turn up, they could change
their minds again. He'll have to oil the hinges
Rhyno, as he's swinging like a rusty gate of late!

Ha Ha, I got accused of swinging like a rusty gate Ron when I used to play, way back when. I lost form for a few innings and then hit a Ton.
Also ended up batting through the side to finish N.O.and we won the final....let's hope Davey can do the same and spring back into gear!

I only achieved 1 ton in my cricket career Ray, and that was on the slog. But I got two hat tricks before graduating to wicket keeper.
Loved the game, oh to be young again!
Rhyno knows, deep down we hope Warner comes good.
The press can be typically cruel sometimes.

I played for Bankstown Heights (don't know if they still exist), I was an all rounder, leg spin was my forte, I got 4 for 15 in the semi of the same comp I was selected for top grade the next year but had a wife that hated me playing sport (didn't like me much either lol), and bunged it on (abused me on the field one day) and I never played again for 15 years after that until I was married to my now wife (an angel) and I was 38 then and played for Burwood reserves for 2 years until I moved to Camden then played for fun with local suburban side for a couple of years...I did love playing cricket but switched to golf after that, got down to single figures in my 30's, now still love the game but out to 22 and have some aches and pains as well (lol).
Actually I am off injured at the moment as I had a fall when cleaning the pool 3 weeks ago (bloody idiot), I pay a professional to do the pool and he was due the next day but we had some big winds and the pool was full of leaves and I didn't want to leave him with that mess...I have now learnt my lesson, if you pay somebody to do something...let them do the bloody job and don't try to help them, especially at my age (LOL).
Love my cricket but alas, didn't get to enjoy it through the prime years of my life

what could have been hey ray, what a story mate. A lot of cricketers seem to love a game of golf too! Hand in hand I suppose. Just the swing is a little different.
Its funny coming back to a sport after a long time, its like a old mate you havent seen for decades that you can just sit down and get back to where you left off,

Not sorry mate, I met my wife Ellie and she not only changed my life, she changed my career, outlook on life and more importantly, made me happy...you can't ask for more than that!
