The big suggestion of late, write a story about betting mates
Where troubled history does relate, and Bookies wrote on slate
An option to fill a golden crate, depends on a girl named Fate
Nourishing on a winners plate, as losses have that shitty taste

A ship needs an El Capitano does it not, can be a bloody spot
The keel is laid, she'll race at knots, so fortunes can be got
If some of the crew are drunken clots, annual picks can be forgot
As shipmates show their spots, and harmony runs like useless snot

A meetings held hurriedly in Warnambool, not far from the school
The subject being, who are these fools, who just sit, and drool
Later, a patch is found for the pool, and adjustment of the rules
Some find the changes cruel, whilst the culprits are ridiculed

The following weeks are mundane, as jockeys choose the wrong lanes
Consistency was never attained, except for the Viking Tor Janes
Then a reason none can explain, money stopped going down the drain
Euphoria was attained, some left, others continued to entertain

In adventures mistakes are made, which will begin terrible tirades
You can't always be the Ace of spades, it's a much too harder grade
Thought is a two sided blade, on one an upgrade. the other a degrade
Courage in your beliefs will never fade, leave the others to deprave

Whether this trek is right or wrong, the remainder's will is strong
While we constantly tag along, awaiting results like Cheech & Chong
Secretly, our wishes are as big as King Kong, in his summer thongs
That you all will sing a Victory song, and win a game of Ping Pong

Let's have a bet with mates
Soon you'll call them cunts
A friendly family
who all enjoy a punt

No pressure to perform it's all just for fun
But be prepared for failure because you'll take it up the bum.

To the tune of The Hurricane:

El Capitano could take us all out with just one note
But he doesn't like to talk about it all that much
It's not my work he said
So I'll start Bet with Mates instead
When the 6 weeks are over
Just as soon go on my way

Up to some part of Af-ric-a
Where I can do my work
Without a care
Or run some dogs along the beach
May even preach or teach about a man
who was around some 2000 odd years aaaagooooooo

But El Capitan's cards were marked in advance
Watson & Jessup didn't give him a chance
They sunk the boots in
Whenever they could
Takin the piss
Like boys in the hood

This is the story of El Capitaaan
And it won't be over
Till all those picks come in
And he rubs it all back in their face
At which time he'll realise
It was race picks that got the mates
Over the li-ne

Da-da-da-da-da-da

Very good Ryan.
Unfortunately I've just been walking the dogs listening to Bob Dylan in my head for 45 minutes....... And I imagine he will stay there most of the day.
Thanx
