Report: Macwollie Lodge finally cracks a big one in the 8 odd years the comp has been running. For trying so long his bets on the Quad have dwindled from a full on go to a $10 flexi then down to $5 to now a pultry gold coin $2 % but he always made sure he took it no matter what just to say he had a piece of the action if it won. So today's $2 netted him a return of $324.81 ( I used the daily TAB multiplyer on that farking Jungle Edge in the 1st race, shit! as I usually use it on the quad). Thanks for the congrats gents but Quassie also was Miami Bound today as well and is now joined on top by Frucky and NTPAW. Tor was the other big winner with his Tigers also getting up tonight 3 in the last 4 years you lucky blighter. - The Convener

Melbourne's Flemington Paul start of the traditional 4 day Carnival Sat, Tues, Thurs and Sat. MSQ only operates on the Saturdays. Unfortunately no crowds at Flemington in a city of 5 million where covid 19 (down to an average 5 cases a day over 14 days and we are still in lockdown) it only strikes and spreads amongst the Muslim community who don't drink or bet but they do work in the crowd control security areas for $20 an hour but the operators charge the govt $150-$300 for the priveledge probably why the bastid Dictator Dan won't let us out. - The Convener
