Just had a wee scan around and not one "bookmaker" offering any 'specials' on semi's...very poor especially when one of ireland's largest are the sponsors....

Dogs to qualify/not to qualify... Match bets.... Not even a Shelbourne Trap Challenge(irish firms bet daily on uk bags meeting trap challenges) Very disappointing, plenty accountants but very few Turf Accountants left....

Michael Paddy Power runs a special, bet any dog/dogs and if they win you lose and if they lose you lose, and they seem to run this special all year round

Reason Irish firms bet on bags meetings is because the "B" in bags stand for bookmakers. if not for bookmakers there wouldn't be bags or begs meetings ......no bookmaker is interested in irish greyhound racing till it comes to the cat 1 races

My cousin was shopping around for prices on few dogs to qualify/not to qualify and the "big" firms were a joke, even any independents he contacted were a waste of time.... Bar-One priced them up for him, well done them....
