The Scratching / Late Scratching Rule

If there's a late scratching, the PUNTERS will have 2 options since we're now living in the 21 century & have everything at our fingertips.

Option 1. Should a "Late Scratching occur" regarding you selection, that member will have the opportunity to "Re-Enter" a new choice...PROVIDED
(a). Your original selection has not raced &
(b). Your new selection has been officially lodged "5 MINUTES" before any race is about to start (Yes you can choose a different race provided it to has not been conducted).

Option 2. If the option above has not been exercised, the individual involved will be automatically awarded the "Favourite" of that race. The "Favourite" is clearly stated on the TAB.com.au site under - "Substitute", under that race of choice ---> EXTERNAL LINK

"Tote" points will be awarded in both cases.

Ok members. It's unanimous & "Rule 2" regarding the "2nd Chance Forget Rule" reigns supreme.

The 2nd Chance Forget Rule

If a member forgets to place his or her tips, that member will be awarded the lowest score above zero for that week. A total of no more than FOUR, "2nd Chance Forget Rulings", will be awarded to each member if required. Once all 4 chances have been spent, that member will receive ZERO point.

Please note that All previous scores will be adjusted shortly to coincide with these rule chances.

To recognize when a member has used (1 of 4) "2nd Chance Forget rulings", I'll place a symbol such " * " at the end of their score.

I know we can't please everybody, but I've given all members the opportunity to have their say and the new rulings will now stand.

I thank you all for your patient & constructive criticism. It proves "We as a Group" can work together in relation to such issues.

Starting next month (March) a monthly "CASH" prize will be on offer thanks to the $$$$ donated by Ray Brown & Ron Hunter, totaling $300. Thanks you very much guys. Much appreciated.

Now here are the rules.

To qualify for one of these monthly cash prizes, all you have to do is simply lodge your weekly tip. Its as simple as that. Nothing different. Then at the end of every month the member with the highest score wins.....But there is a twist.

Should you fail to place your tips during a month, you will be instant eliminated from that particular months prize. The 2nd Chance Forget Rule will not save you. But dont worry as youll be able to re-enter the monthly cash prize the following & every month there after, as everyone will be starting with a fresh sheet.

Regarding the cash prize......as there is a total of 10 months left in the competition, the prize-pool on offer will be divided equally between each of the 10 monthly winners. So as it stands now, $30 will be the monthly cash prize, & theres no limit on how many monthly prizes a single member can win.

Every monthly winner will be announced at the end of every month & all winners will receive their cash prize personally by me on completion of the competition, via a direct bank deposit once your bank details have been obtained.

So now theres an extra incentive to place your tips every week.

Just think....with 30 buck you could get in the good books & buy the missus some flowers & give her a Mars bar lol. Maybe buy the kids a Happy meal & while your at it, give that winning dog a soft-serve (no choc-top thou). Or you could do what I'll possibly do and shout the fellows a round down at the local & get the better looking half to come & pick me up. (Luv ya darling).

60 bucks will get you a nice bottle JACK.
