A truly tragic loss. Also a reminder how we should all appreciate life, family and friends to its fullest.
All this, and it was on the way home from doing one of the things he loved the most, too ... And that was racing his much-loved and cared for greyhounds.
It will forever remain an honour to have called Pete's last runner home as a winner. Not that that was a rarity; he could sure find the Winner's Circle!
RIP Peter; and sincere condolences to Peter's family and many friends inside and outside of the greyhound industry.

This is an absolute tragedy and a loss to the industry .
Whilst I did not know Peter personally I admired his work greatly , I had followed his progress over the past couple of years and had hoped to put a dog or 2 in his care.
Rest In Peace Peter, I do my homework and no one had a bad word about you - I regret that I did not get to meet you.
