Whose GLEN BOSS , is he the VIC version of sweeping wide.

CRAIG WILLIAMS, THE D OLIVER, J BYRNES, L NOLEN, or MALCOLM JOHNSON that way we dont have cringe with embarrassment for him on TV. LOL

I would put N.Rawiller or L.Nolen on his back and watch him win by panels!

As for Shoot Out I would not declare him for a Melbourne cup start ,the Cox Plate looks like a real nice race for Him.
Then again one could be proven wrong thats what so facinating about this Great Race.

I just love the Spring racing carnival ,

Bernard

Mal,
Craig is one of my favorite Jockeys.
Craig is not a sweeper, he likes to go for the run.
sometimes he might swing out at the 200 mtrs,
just my observation.

Helen way to Go ,
I can not go on Boats i get sea Sick.
Will your Cruise take you up the Marbiynong river to the Gate on the North Hill and Lawns entrance ? one use to swim horses in the river , and occassionally one saw a dead sheep or a Cow etc floating by , interesting aftermath you really had to hose the horse down after and one self otherwise you stunk for a week.

Bernard you miss read my post, BRENDO said wat about BOSSY and i said from my personal observation is he sweeps alot, he would get a job as broom hand on the shire. The other jockeys i mentioned are the ones i believe are very patient and settled on a horse and can read a race 9 out of 10 times..... CRAIG is one of the best, 2nd only to the old D. OLIVER b4 his injury imo. And yes i did miss NASH as i believe for a jockey his height hes probably the best ive seen

Brendo....

I know he's your fav but no way does Shoot Out remotely have 100 yards on them those he raced last week....very under done Predatory Pricer will improve out of site, especially not even a trial leading in....a number of others in the same situation....

my tip for the cup....once were wild....

cheers

p.s. lots of Derby winners weren't real stayers or were uncompetitive at those distances as they graduated to race against older horses...

Our acc. is booked and so are the airfares.
Should be a great carnival leading into the 150th Melb. Cup.

Backing any horse this far out is of course a gamble BUT the weather on the day will decide on the winner, especially in Melbourne and especially on the Cup Day.

Nice cup trial run by Rebel Raider in SA on Saturday too. He is forgotten horse of last year....Metal Bender surely has to rate a huge show. I am with Grant, too many risks this far out. Wait until the final field is out before outlaying your money!

rebel raider was a fantastic run, let's hope they have not flatten him, well the big plunge has been on the LLyod Williams neddy,

Big move on Grand Ducal,
this neddy was specked at 1000/1
he is now in the 100/1 to 200/1 on Betfair.

He starts his campain tomorrow at moonee valley in race 8
10/1 in early betting will be interesting to see what he does.

Don't know about yesterdays run, i did not see it.
Only heard it on 927 , at one stage he started to make a run,
i know they had a 3kg claiming kid on it, would like to see a senior rider on him next start , any one see the race ?

there was solid money on track for him as he was specked at big odds in, bit of stable confidence? ran as well as could be expected first up, i threw him in the quaddie and kept a good eye on him and i think he hit the line nicely.

first up at the valley coming from behind, not my cup of tea but where there is smoke there is fire and is one to watch in future
