Martin, not sure if you are experienced with the whelping process or not, but the milk doesn't come in fully for a couple of days. The first "milk" is colostrum, which the pups need to have after they are first born. Make sure that you offer the bitch plenty of good quality red meat, and plenty of milky fluid, perhaps with some honey/glucose added. This will all help with her milk production, but make sure that you actually offer it to her often, as the bitch will not usually leave the pups to go and eat or drink, when the pups are first born. Hope this may help, and I apologise if you already know all this. Just thought it may help in case you don't find a foster mother. Good luck.
