The offspring are very small at 20kg. The Irish coursing line and your South African line are very far removed, so maybe very hard to predict which way it will go when crossed, but 20kg is very small.

Not sure what to say to you as regards which way to go. What size of dog do you think would succeed in your racing? The Irish coursing dog is tough, and so the 2 runs would be fine, but if its after a drag lure, some of them might not chase it flat out. You could be lucky, but its a long way to bring a dog and find out he won't chase the drag. Long term most Irish coursing dogs will eventually turn their noses up after a drag. Maybe a bit of Irish Track Line in the mix would suit. Central City throws dogs that are competitive in Ireland in track and Field and would be worth considering and he has pups with both the track and coursing in their genes.
