Hard worker and honest.
I've owned and operate a Pet Food Shop since 2002. All my Greyhounds are fed on only the best.....fresh beef etc every day.
Love breeding and have had a hand in doing so since 1979. Forever studying "Past and Present" champion dam-lines in ore of producing that special freak. Have saved some very expensive Semen from past champions which I will put into practice when I feel the time is right.
I'd love to bred an Australia Sprint Champion....A race that deserves the HIGHEST of accolades then current standings. The only race in Australia that has a format that guarantees a runner from every Australian State to compete in the Final. Deserves better prize-money in both - STATE & NATIONAL Finals.
Our first family greyhound was (how did you guess) a give-away.... A THUNDER LANE bitch named AFTERFLASH. No champion but she won first up at Lithgow. Her first litter produced WPk winner BONZO'S ROSE. 2nd litter produced WPk FFA class galloper & 1984 GOSFORD Greyhound of the Year GOLDEN TIVOLI. Have been hooked ever since.
PS....Don't have time for idiots (ferals)...People that aren't genuine. Sore losers can go jump in the lake.
My last litter
Just The Best x Fast Azz El ---> http://www.greyhound-data.com/dbtestmating.php?&sireid=117598&damid=2204439
This mating will be a 4th generational cross-usage of champion sire JUST THE BEST & this damline, which has contributed to or produced -
2017 NSW National Derby - Big Daddy Bee ---> http://www.greyhound-data.com/d?d=Big+Daddy+Bee&x=37&y=14
Queensland Futurity - M'Lady's Fool ---> http://www.greyhound-data.com/d?d=M%27Lady%27s+Fool&x=25&y=10
Aust Nat Sprint Champ & Champion sire - Elite State ---> http://www.greyhound-data.com/d?d=Elite+State&x=29&y=14
And over 20+ individual city winners.
FAST AZZ EL was a winner of 9 from 30 starts & retired from racing before the age of 3 (like her dam) because of seasonal changes. She won 4 at Albion Pk over 520m including an unbelievable 5.44 first-sectional-split, started favourite for the "2016 Dave Brett Memorial" after a 6 length heat win & made a mess of a field at Warragul in a flying 25.81. Was a winner from 460m to 550m which included some flying B.O.D wins.
She is also a full litter-sister to multiple Group Finalists "Gelantipy Gold", a winner of 20+ races.
FAST AZZ EL's dam, EL FOOLING who I bred was a winner of 23 races from just 34 starts. She's a full litter-sister to APRIL'S LEGACY (a winner of 15 from 31 starts) who in turn produce MAJA MAHI MAHI, the winner of the 2017 G1 Sapphire Crown.
EL FOOLING is also a half-sister to WINNING CHARM (another litter that I bred) who in turn produce BIG DADDY BEE, the winner of the 2017 G1 NSW National Derby.
I've been breeding with this damline continually for 3 generations now. This litter will be the 4th, & I expect the success to continue (touchwood).
Sick of slow dogs

THE FOLLOWING I WROTE....about a bitch I whelped, reared & raced after interest was generated when she retired from the race track.
Dated the 3rd March 2013.
"PURE LEE FOOLING", (PLF) or affectionately known as "Honey", only had a short racing career that consisted of only 9 starts, but what she achieved on the race track in that short period of time, opened a lot of peoples eyes up.
So much so that all her pups from her first three litters (COLLISION, COSMIC RUMBLE & HIGH HIGHER) were all pre-sold or sold within days of whelp. Her next litter will be to BEKIM BALE.....who is known for putting strength in his pups (4 are pre-sold).
As a pup, I could see Honey was special. She loved to run & was always the one in front of the pack. Her 2 other litter mates that were reared with her couldn't match her pace, style or canniness...She never did a thing wrong & when it came to being BROKEN-IN, she surprised everyone by breaking the class-record at Goldenview Trial track.....but not me. She ran a sensational first split of 7.11, with an overall time of 19.35. I knew she was special and this just confirmed it.
I then decided to target a top trainer which didn't come easily....being a greyhound breeder from little old Bundaberg, but I eventually achieve that mission. Julie Edmondson, partner to the legendary Queensland trainer Reg Kay came to terms with me, and Honey was sent to their kennels with the VINCE CURRY MAIDEN at Ipswich in mind. Her preparation though was spoiled for the series that year (2011) by the January Brisbane Floods, which left her under-done (no circle work for at least 2 weeks) due to being cut-off from the public. Even food had to be helicopter in. But Reg decided to push ahead as the race is the riches maiden race in Australia and you only get one shot at it. It's also a race Reg has never won before (believe it or not...but finally concord it 3 years later IN 2014 with JUNGLE JUNCTION).
She won her qualifying heat in pouring down rain leaving a 2nd section split (13.19) that was the "Best of Night" after 24 heats. Her last section was slow but that was to be expected.
The quarter finals the following week saw much of the same but PLF got run down into 2nd spot by the favorite, but she still advanced into the Semi-Finals. Once again her 2nd sectional split recorded (13.18) was .14 quicker than any of the other 7 run heats that night.
The following week after drawing the visitors box, PLF missing the kick at box rise & finishing 6th. This was to be her only ever unplaced run and the only time she was ever lead in a race.
Reg decided to throw her in the VINCE CURRY CONSOLATION where she finished a creditable 2nd after showing her usual customary early brilliance running a flying 13.16, the fastest of the series only to be tag a couple of strides from the winning post.
To prove how fast Pure Lee Fooling's 2nd sectional splits were, during the 2011 Vince Curry Maiden Series there was 38 races (24 quals, 8 Quarter/Finals, 4 Semi/Finals and of course the Consolation and Grand-Final). Out of those 38 races, Pure Lee Fooling run 3 of the 4 quickest times.
Reggie then aimed her for the Grafton Maiden Classic (4 weeks later) where she slaughtered her opposition by 10 & 3/4 lengths. She stopped the clock just one length outside of the then track record and in the process she set a blistering first sectional split of 8.37 & a new Class Record of 22.76 (BOD). The following week she drew favorably in box one and was never in doubt on a rain affected track. She brought home the bacon as expected winning the Final by 5 lengths (BOD), breaking the magic 23 second mark once again.
With Reg now eyeing off the Maitland Cup for the second year in-a-row with ELITE BLUE SIZE, he decided to take PURE LEE FOOLING along for the ride. She drew box 7 in a 4th/5th grade race that night and when the lids lifted, it was all but over running a "Best of Night" 22.49.
The following week Honey was drawn in a best 8 Rocky Ridge Trophy race set down on Cup night. The field contain experienced runners including city winners and Group finalists. The field also included next months 2011 Richmond Oaks winner "PREMIER JOURNEY". This race wasn't going to be an easy task especially as it was only Honey's 3rd ever graded race and she had box 4 to contend with as well....Really, it was going to be a massive test of character which I hoped she could over come at the start with sheer pace. Well as history shows, she destroyed that hot field by 6 lengths running a sensational 22.29 (BON) at only her 8th official race start. The time was just a length and a half outside of the then track record.
Reg was so impressed he stepped her up to the 450m the following week in preparation for a tilt at the Tweed Heads Galaxy, the following month. That 450m race was unfortunately going to be her last as she broke her inside front metacarpal.
Reg believes the injury occurred at box rise as she noticeably stepped awkwardly and collided with the outside dog and never really looked at her zippy best, running wide on the home corner. She still managed to dig deep, leading all the way and was only beaten a head x 1/2 a length in 25.34, with a broken foot. Later that night when Reg realized the extent of the injury, he rang me to tell Honey had pulled up as lame as a duck and had done something serious to her left front Metacarpal. To Reggie's credit, he drove 9 hours that night so she could get the best of care immediately from Queensland's number one Veterinary, " Eaton Wells". She ended up getting some pins in her metacarpal, after a successful operation.
With an indefinite 6 months on the sidelines, I was hoping she'd come on season....But as you know, it doesn't always work out the way you intent it to so I put her back into work.
Contact was made in the mean time with a leading Victorian Trainer and yes, you guess it....Honey came on season and as I had orders for her pups to COLLISION, I didn't hesitate.
She whelped a litter of 10 pups and with the debut of Honey's younger half sister's "EL FOOLING" & "APRIL'S LEGACY", both making waves on the racing circuit, I decided to official retire PURE LEE FOOLING to stud.
This is what Reg had to say about PURE LEE FOOLING on the David Brasch website.

BRILLIANT youngster Pure Lee Fooling has smashed her metacarpal and will be out of action for six months.
Trainer Reg Kay said he and breeder-owner Steve Martin were devastated by the Pure Octane-Heart’s War bitch’s injury.
“I believe this bitch was on par with Elite Oriental, if not even a little bit better,” said Kay. High praise indeed because Elite Oriental won the Group 1 National Futurity at Wentworth Park and was the Gold Coast track record holder for 457m.
Pure Lee Fooling pulled up with the metacarpal injury last week. Kay took her to West Chermside vet clinic to have the injury looked at as soon as he got back from Maitland.
“I gave her a great chance in a race like the Galaxy at Tweed,” said Kay.
“She was one-tenth off the track record at Grafton and then ran quicker sectionals than Elite Blue Size at Maitland.” Elite Blue Size bounced right back to his best when winning his second successive Maitland Gold Cup two weeks ago.
PURE LEE FOOLING'S race record reads, 9 starts - 4 wins (all in best of night), 3 seconds & 1 thirds. Plus a 520m Vince Curry Maiden Qualifying heat win.
