Fortified Rush had 97 starts over a 23 month career.

At Wheeling Downs he had 94 starts for 58 wins, 9 seconds, 12 thirds and 8 fourths. His first 50 wins there were from only 71 starts. He had win streaks of 12 and 11 in a row. He made AA grade after only 7 starts and never raced out of AA/Stakes grade for the remainder of his race career(90 more starts).

Rush has produced sub-30 second performers over 500m plus events in the USA, Australia and New Zealand. He has thrown city winners, feature race winners, group race finalists and Australian track record breakers.

The most impressive performance to date was the debut run on 13 December 2006 of Vickerman Bale over 472m at Bulli, Australia's premier speed track. He won by 7.5 lengths in 26.36. No other first-starter has run quicker there. The run compares with other brilliant debuts by From a Distance(26.47), Bitability Bale(26.49), Mottram(26.52) and Bond(26.68). Paul Barnes, Bulli's racing manager for many years, was very enthusiastic after Vickerman Bale remained unbeaten in 4 starts "he's as good a pup as I've seen, he's come from impossible positions to win and at that age they just don't do what he has"

Of all imported sires currently available to Australian breeders during 2006 Fortified Rush has sired the most Australian winners in 2006-07.
