The kennels continue to operate under Steve's sons Kieran & Paul and wife Mary. Idealy situated in the heart of the laune valley, just a 10 minute drive from Killarney town centre, Lahard Lodge Kennels are jointly ran by Steve and Kieran Kennedy. The kennels are a surrounded by lush green paddocks overlooked by the famous Gap of Dunloe and Macgillicuddy Reeks. The kennels are divided into two main sections. The 1st is a boarding facility catering for all breeds and sizes. The 2nd is a greyhound rearing and training facility, catering for both track and coursing breeds.
