About the KennelStud DogsBroodsBreeding Successes

The kennel compound is built on a private 15 acre estate bordering 3,000 acres of wooded game lands. Dogs are run on the trails, and develop natural instincts on their own. Pups are raised in a 500 foot paddock. Diet includes fresh, raw beef and lots of it. Please refer to our web site for pictures. Just call up "Ron Hevener" on the internet. Guests from the industry are always welcome at Hevener Farms.

Our current breeding stock includes sons and daughters of valuable sires from the U.S., U.K., Ireland and Australia. These sires include: Some Picture, Head Honcho, Malawi's Prince, Stapler's Jo, Molotov, Greys Statesman, Evening Memory, Fortress, Bara Buzz, Pacific Mile, Derby Day, WW Applejax and Aimin By Design.

At stud, we stand Reactabond Rebel* (Derby-winning son of the legendary Some Picture). It is possible that we have the highest concentration of Some Picture blood to be found anywhere in the world.

Mr. Hevener is a published writer with over a million readers in nearly sixty countries. His novel "High Stakes," is available at many Greyhound racetracks and is set in the world of Greyhound racing. It is considered by many to be one of the most powerful novels ever written for animal lovers.

Like everybody else, we've made our share of mistakes along the way, but we are always open to improvement. We are open to business partnerships in other countries.
