And follows up with national sprint title.
Youd have to say he is the number 1 sire in Australasia right now.

No the winner was not a giveway. The current trainer advertised her as a giveaway. No takers.

He's a modern day Barcia Bale sire with an American influence - been hugely dominate. Can't wait to use him again.

Bernardo can now include the TEMLEE winner, Explicit, to his ever growing list of big race winners.
Hector Fawley and Pass The Buck were also impressive winners on the night.

Hi Cyril,

I wld choose a sire you like and linebreed Dr. Libby's damline into a sire that's been highly successful in your sire of choices damline, through different individuals of course, with a view to upgrading your girls damline.

For example this is the nick from a HOS thru his sire Barcia Bale's perspective https:/ CLICK HERE

It doesn't appear to be enuf of a nick for my liking, but it may still work with another sire that worked previously in HOS' damline.

G/l.

No Cyril. What I'm saying is the Barcia nick is risky and doesn't appear enuf at face value within 5 gens.

If we get rid of the outcross, the nick with HoS becomes this https:/ CLICK HERE , a little easier to see.

However to get to a minimum intensity of 88% that I wld like, involves going deeper(8th gen), into that Barcia nick. IOW it may be too far back, therefore more risky. It also gets more complicated the further you go back.

So I wld check out what else is available with other sires you think may suit her temperament for example, then line Dr Elizabeth up with a sire that's been highly successful in that sire of choices damline, through different individuals to see what %'s those nicks give up.

The Barcia nick whether thru HoS or Jungle Deuce is still the Barcia nick and therefore still risky for the reasons stated. Of course there may be other champions in HoS' or JD's damline who's sires may give up a closer and stronger nick that gives you the justification and confidence to go ahead with that particular mating. You just have to line up the nicks that give up a minimum intensity of 88% within say 5 or 6 gens if possible, to find that standout sire that suits her best.

Cheers.
