the bitch in question did not race and was not named due to breaking her leg during break in I believe. I was told that the bitch showed a lot of ability during break in and have no reason to doubt those people at this stage. Without trying to sound rude my question was on peoples opinions on the testmating good or bad ,not if I should breed from an unproven bitch. However I do appreciate your input. I certainly understand the risks taken with any mating. Ive had plenty of disappointments already with proven stock. Cheers

Actually I like both those matings Paul. I could call one of her GROUP winning offspring Waste Of Space or Waste Of Air. Its really starting to grow on me. After all she is out of an ordinary damline. And she does only carry both Hallucinate and Wheres Pedro in the x path and unfortunately Bombastic Shiraz and Collision as well. And she is only by Barcia Bale whos only out of Princess Bale whos only out of Gold Rush Bale. Its a shame shes only 29.8kg and has a great temperament, legs like a gazelle and a chest like a dingo. So youre probably right in saying she hasnt got much going for her. Cheers

Mate, go for it. You are obviously sitting on a gold mine, a real blue hen.

You are so right, you very rarely see bitches with great damlines.

Or ones that carry both Hallucinate and Wheres Pedro in the x path and Bombastic Shiraz and Collision as well, they are as rare as hens teeth.

Likewise being by Barcia Bale whos only out of Princess Bale whos only out of Gold Rush Bale must make her one in a million.

Wow 29.8kg and has a great temperament, legs like a gazelle and a chest like a dingo. You never see traits like that in a Greyhound.

Mate I was wrong, you really have quite a find on your hands there. Please accept my apologies.

CLICK HERE

Six straight Temlee Sire Strain sires directly over the damline
Barantes / Waverley Supreme the only outcross in nine generations
Last but not least Temlee himself directly over damline.
Temlee Temlee Temlee Temlee Temlee Temlee and more Temlee
So thats how you get intensity ????
1 Bit Chilli
2 Barcia Bale
3 Wheres Pedro
4 Collision
5 Elles Comando
6 Black Shiraz
7 Out cross Barantes
8 Brother Fox
9. Out cross Waverley Supreme
10 Temlee

I guess thats the beauty of bloodlines many perceptions
IMO its time for this damline too either partially or totally outcross
Its one too many Temlee Bridges

Good point Graham and definitely one Im considering. I was just wondering what peoples opinions were when breeding with a sire(a decent sire) whos sister in blood Tifi ( another ordinary bitch) featured four generations back on the bottom line . Cheers

Had either B Bale or Wheres Pedro not been used but instead Kinlock Brae or SH Avatar ( examples ) I think a better chance of achieving a duplicate of Bit Chili
Hindsight a wonderful thing I guess
Michael
Whatever way you decide to go best of luck, I hope you get some champs

You could put a Dingo to this bitch and she would produce champions. You simply can't argue with the logic Michael has put before us.

Michael at a very quick glance I think Soulders CLICK HERE is a real option for her as it gives up an 88% intensity to Where's pedro thru Shoulders dam bit stressed and also covers the criteria Graham is talking about.

It's just too much to write, give me a call when you can be in front of a pc and I'll go through the intensities with you if you want it fully explained......just pm me re a suitable time if you wish. cheers.

Thanks Ryan , I have a shoulders straw which I purchased when the ban was in place. I guess he hasnt shown up much to be commercial yet but still a great dog. Also have Hay Fergus straw. Cheers

Feral Franky and Mister Twister also create a lot of front page intensity as Hay Fergus does(Twister probably too much for a 500m+ type), however none of 3 meet the criteria Graham covered, and I think he made a valid point. Soulders however is a different story with his outcross sireline. Cheers

Maybe something like this could be a option too Michael CLICK HERE I like the double of Awesome Assasin being re-introduced, especially seeing Awesome Assassin/Collision has been so successful for many generations with the Alice Dooley/Chili Berger/Tifi line.
Also re-introducing Black Shiraz and his brother Big Ginger Boy into the line as Black Shiraz's son Bombastic Shiraz was somewhat the sire who shaped many branches of the line.

We have a very young litter of Whiskey Riot x Ruby Herrera CLICK HERE who was also from the Tifi line. We also have a few bitches that are basicaly identically bred to your bitch that have just started racing, so we will be watching your litters pretty closely.

Best of luck with whoever you choose to go with. Cheers

Thanks Mick, yes I like whiskey and can definitely see where your coming from. I also like Hasten slowly which doesnt bring the double AA into the pedigree which I like also but it does bring in another outcross through SN as well as more American blood through EJs Douglas. I guess Im still a little bit stuck on the Bit Chilli mating as I feel it could produce something special. Whats your thoughts , too close, maybe it would be better if Tifi was another one or two generations back allowing another sireline to be introduced. Anyway Ill watch your pups with interest. Good luck with them Mick. Thanks for your input. Cheers

Yeah its a hard call to make on something that close and a lot depends on if you sell some pups or keep them all. I personally like the way the Hallinans duplicate their dam line. Hopefully with Tifi being a tremendous broodie we will have that opportunity down the track.
