They haven't raced on the track for something like 2 years & all the volunteers have done a tremendous job.
Well done to all who put their hands up. Sadly it doesn't happen to much these days.

The Lithgow track surface is an abslolute credit to their track maintenance team, they have been back trialling there for a while now,i was there on a Sunday morning a little while ago & the times were fast. It's ashame that a track like Lithgow isn't used for Country Tab meetings,it has always been one of the original "grass roots " tracks,& imo is still a far better track than some of the other tracks with Country Tab status, who knows that in time & with a little Finacial support,Lithgow may return to the days of 20+ races each & most Saturdays...most trainers, dogs, punters & excellent local patronage loved the place.
Hats off & well done to all involved their, you all deserve a huge pat on your'e backs !.
