Currently undertaking a look around for my bitch Bluestone Sophie the best possible stud match. A number of sires I like, though currently have a leaning towards Ando's Mac. Happy to hear anyone's suggestions.

Bluestone Sophie (Don't Knocka Him x Morningside)
19.86 350m Goulburn
18.06 320m Potts Park Track Record
17.04 297m Dapto
16.75 287m Lithgow
16.29 280m Wentworth Park
18.90 330m Temora

Thanks Matt,
The Bernardo match is very interesting. Surf Queen was a very good race bitch. The 25% match to her is amazingly high. Certainly has given myself something to think about.

Tony any concern with Aston the amount of 390m dogs he is throwing? They don't seem overly strong.

If you want 300 - 400 metre Dogs use Aston Dee Bee or Magic Sprite or you could look at Sires that throw strength like My Bro Fabio and you may get pups that will run 500 !!!

Dont think you can just blame the sire. Zipping Sapporo runs 29.95 as a maiden and 29.63 or there abouts in a heat of the futurity at WP which she later wins. Id be happy with one like her, and your prepared to say they cant run 500. I agree that dogs like MBF are known to add strength but I wont agree that ADB cant throw pups that will run 500. Early days. JMO. Cheers

Do a bit more research and you will find that ADB best pups have been out of strong Bitches.
Zipping Sapporo first 4 dams were stayers !

Go with your gut feeling Rod.
If you have ear marked Ando's Mac then go for it.
All you will get is our personal opinions but at the end of
the day you are the one paying the stud fee.
Good luck with whatever you choose.

Thanks Mark, Im well aware of this but if you do a bit more research yourself, you will see her second dam Morningside was a strong type. In fact some of the Dams in this dam line did not even race but were champion producers ( go figure) theres no rules, but it was a champion dam line and produced the likes of Flying Amy who could also run 500( go figure) besides that I just like the mating and feel it could produce 500 metre dogs JMO. I like the brother ,sister thing Mark. Hope Im not just revving you up about this whole breeding thing. Anyway hope you sell your pups I also like their breeding and good luck Rodney also and well said Tony. Hope Ive covered everything. Cheers

So true Tony. Really only two outcomes with breeding, either you are a genius or a dope. It's a fine line. I like Ando's because of his breeding and his amazing Melbourne Cup win. Also my bitch is only 24.3kg. She could possible lose her own life trying to give birth to large sires. This little girl means a lot to me, and I expect her to live a long and happy retirement.

Hi Rod. I sent you a pm. I wont post on here normally now. Too many people that think they know me etc... but they got no idea about me. They judge on past things they still know nothing about. But they get told whatever and turn into heroes of the sport....

She needs strength (her dam threw speed) and outcross as priorities and even though you're linebreeding Bombastic Shiraz you're still getting both here:

CLICK HERE

Bombastic Shiraz himself was a bit of a 'domestic outcross' anyway, even though he was 20% Temlee (on paper).
