Add in breeding value score based-either on times or update the GD rating system. Would also like to see 3rd offspring button if possible or reverse pedigree options. Cheers

For me the " Test Mating " has always been fine. What would be more beneficial when breeders are trying to use the facility would be an accurate & up to date database of stud dogs. Most listed died years ago. If it were not proven that sires were available frozen they too should be deleted. Hope that helps. Mark

Re Mark's post, whilst it is a good point, given the programme's current parameters I doubt it would be possible, well not without spending major time and money, however, perhaps being able to nominate/stipulate a whelp year, i.e. only display sires whelped on or after e.g. 2015, etc.

Whilst this wouldn't eliminate those sires no longer available/active or even alive, it would allow the user to reduce the number of dogs listed/displayed if this was his or her intention

The Testmating Tool is what it is , its how the Individual looks at what it can give them too achieve an Improvement on what they have achieved previously or for New Breeders & people who are new to the game it gives an insight to whats out there. I think a lot bordering on a Hell of a lot of Breeders & Buyers forget the one Fundamental aspect of what we are dealing with here is STOCK i.e , Blood = D.N.A = Genetics . The Greyhound circle I feel is far superior to the Horse Racing circle in regards to achieving Top Class Animals ( speed related ) . Therefore I would say the introduction of The Testmating Tools on Greyhound Data is far superior to anything the Horse Racing Circle. Keep up the good work & Im sure the Super Star Greyhounds will be just around the corner, just remember dont always look at what youre looking at look behind the Pedigree.

It would be great if you could change the sire on the pedigree page instead of having to go back to the testmating page every time you want to run a search.
Perhaps even a drop down box with the top 20 or 30 sites listed so you could quickly select different options?

Actually off topic but would be great help if there was a topic which gave up to date information and opinions on American dogs and sires from people like Martin Roper, Brian Witt and co regularly. Cheers Ted.

I'd like to see an icon come up to indicate if the pedigree I've proposed is "inside or outside the square". I've heard these terms bandied around but can never tell the difference.

Hi Tony,

Wld it be possible to lift the 5 generation Blood Quota Table to be directly under any pedigree therefore ensuring they both appear on the one page ?

Currently there's room for a google add to appear inbeetween the bottom of the pedigree and the Blood Quota Table and you always have to scroll up or down to either see the pedigree or the Blood Quota Table.

Apologies if this question has already been asked.

Thanks for your valuable time and consideration.

Hi Tony,

It would be great to have a function to save your favorite testmatings to your account.

Hi Tony is possible to do two things;

Firstly - can you adjust the testmating tool to compare female lines against female lines or vice versus sire against sires ie if you wanted to compare dam tail lines for the sire and dam you cant do it without looking for a male litter mate of one to compare them if that makes sense

Secondly is there any chance that the white bar you get when checking the location of an ancestor be visible for further back than 6th generation. Say for example you had brother fox replicated multiple times going from 5- 9th to generation. When you select him in the duplicate area it highlights his name in the first five and places a marker for the 6th only. If you want further back then you have to go search where it is positioned.

Nonetheless brilliant website would be lost without it!!
