Forever hearing about stud dogs and all the hype, imports and how they are producing, but what about the poor bitch.
I gather there would be a few about with offspring racing though what imported bitches have influenced lines in any way since the early 70's and 60's.
Clonmannon Ivy, through World Acclaim, Made to Size, Fallem Zorro and Halls Northern
Monalee Again through Hoppy's Girl, Bomber Gleeson, Brumby Lad and Trew Millions.
Its takes longer to introduce fresh blood via a female and prob the main reason why breeders stay clear, other then the odd few. But there are others out there and just wondering who they are as it will be interesting to follow them.

Dan

This bitch did well.

CLICK HERE
She had an interesting pedigree and one that was always going to link up well with the Temlee line, mainly because she carried Wonder Valley in her tail female line and he is a virtual brother to Tivoli Dreamer, and she also carried another brother Lucky wonder in her sireline.
In fact, she had virtually the same pedigree top and bottom.

This bitch too did extremely well.

CLICK HERE
Have a look at her pedigree. In-bred 3x4 to Sally's Gossip top and bottom of the pedigree, and carrying The Grand Champion through the middle of both her sire and dam. The fact she also carried Prairie Peg in her damline allowed her to pick up beautifully with the Prairie Peg crosses in Temlee's grandsire, and also in Waverly supreme's damline.

This dog did that perfectly.

It's interesting that some are now saying Premier Fantasy is proving an influence in Australia.
Interesting because his alternate sex path runs to this bitch

CLICK HERE
See how she carries a double to Prairie Vixen, dam of Prairie Peg (included in this bitch's pedigree) who as we have just discussed is so prominant in the pedigree of both Temlee and Waverly Supreme.

Jim, I find it fascinating that Sunnyside Girl carries FOUR crosses of Skipping Chick ... all through different individuals.

She is almost the "perfect" import given the JTB sons affinity to the line.
I remember discussing CLICK HERE with you years ago and his relationship with this line. There is a very real "affinity" between CRED(Worth Doing>>Wav Sup), Im Slippy and the Rosemoth line.Knocka has the Im Slippy Made to Size the Curryhill Brute Kostic Burns etc etc
This "affinity" also includes the Maythorn Pride descendants..both Maldini and P/F have this significantly CLICK HERE
To turn it around further would Token Prince or high% Wav Sup bitches click to this dog CLICK HERE

This is the pedigree of Tear's Girl, dam of legend stayer Trojan Tears

CLICK HERE

Brave Bran's brother Brown Lad (and thus Rosemoth) plays a huge part as damsire

But Jim ... ask most breeders (even some of the "greats") and they will tell you back three generations does not have an influence at all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know Brown Lads bro Brave Bran is in some of the best Irish English dams mostly doubled such as here CLICK HERE she is one of the elite bitches currently in Ireland.
Cheers Yads

Jim,
Premier Fantasy was one of those dogs that come only once in ten years. People like Seamus Graham are not prone to exaggerating. He was flawless in his short racing career but he did not race beyond 480 metres, would he have stayed beyond that distance? I do not know. There is no doubt about his chasing traits, will he throw good stock? His dam was a good long distance bitch. His grand dam, Pauls Turn bred very well. For Australia? depends how many broods the owner keeps. The sire of Premier Fantasy, Premier County was a rare early paced racer from Pat Daltons Maythorn Pride line. Roanokee was the only other sire that threw early to this Irish line in recent times IMO. An Irish breeder might conclude that Premier Fantasy derives much of his racing ability from the crossing of Daleys Gold and Burnpark Sally blood. Premier County has not done much at stud bar P.F.

Jim, what a diamond of a pedigree Little Diamond has. It's virtually Tear's Laddie, Tear's Girl and Trojan Tears. Right to Droopy's Maldini. I must admit I don't take as much notice of the Irish pedigrees as I should. Little Diamond is a fantastic example of just what we've been talking about here. Obviously reinforcing all those great lines constantly and coming up with greatness.

Why do you reckon Sunnyside Girl has been such a successful brood ?
Only JTB or his sons used also?.

Jim i reckon your Token/Malawi's Prince bitches would suit this dog much better than Ahane Lad
CLICK HERE The top dogs over the last five years in Ire/Uk, most carry the Waverley Supreme, Laurdella Fun and Sandman crosses. We know how well it works here in Oz without looking through Top Honcho offshore. With both damlines carrying the Sandman x Maythorn Pride cross via Black Weather and Sand Black, Phoenix's dam has that extra FUN.

All well and good Dan from an hypothetical breeding on paper.
On the track there was no comparison whatsoever and it must be taken into consideration.Ahanne Lad was an elite racer as was Maldini and Premier Fantasy let's not forget.

Its interesting that once again through Davids two examples its basically Irish coursing lines that have been more successful as both broods and sires over the years in Oz, same here in the States, how relivant is this?

Jim, Interesting comments. I have put Rylee Reason (Token Prince x Risque Reason x Playground) to Ahane Lad and they are the nicest pups on the property, nice to handle and mental case keen. I haven't seen any Ahane Lad pups as yet race...not sure how old his first litter is over here.

Jim,

He has thrown a few very useful performers, a few of his tend to be a bit after you types, very fast with a clear run and I know you can say that about a lot of dogs, I think talking to a few people the jury is still out on him, he has had plenty of bitches so if numbers count he should become a significant stud dog in the next twelve months.

Em Gee.

Yes Jim Pats damline has been very significant here, more so than in his native Ireland. I was talking to his son John at the Nationals today, they have a few broods in the auction on Friday and do not have much trouble selling them, even those that were not great performers.

Maryville Rumble is a bit like a few of the Aussie sires in Ireland, I do not think he would have got much patronige at home but who knows what he may achieve here or in Oz. at least you would have a few line breeding oppurtunities with others from Steve Kavanagh's lines.

Dan these are only about 6-8 wks away from starting and the first litter are winning alot of races in VIC but none are getting ground. HOT TERRAIN is going well and won the ROSEBOWL a few weeks back, but im sure a couple of the GWT will get 500 and have great upfront speed.
