Hi All,just a quick heads up & gentle reminder about picking up your'e dogs droppings in Car park used on race nights at Wenty.

Rangers are clamping right down due to the usual complaints of locals in regards to Trainers NOT picking up their Greyhounds droppings.

They were in attendance last night on the lookout for Trainers who weren't doing the right thing ( no pun intended ),I approached the two Council Rangers,& let them know, that there were NO disposable bags available at the two designated bins for Trainers to use,but as we know,it is our responsibility to ensure we provide these ourselves,it is the law.

Also,if you are not carrying a disposable " poo bag" with you when you get you're dog out of your'e vechile/ trailer,& you're dogs empties out,you run the high risk of still being fined,$ 290..a poo, even if your'e dog emptied out 5 mtrs from you're vechile/ trailer,& you were going back to get a disposable poo bag.

As it turned out,one of the Rangers was a greyhound owner, his dogs were trained by John Caines,so he certainly isnt anti,a couple of decent fella's just doing their jobs.

So please spread the word.
