IMO he is going to be one of our very best race dogs to have raced in Australian history .
His Sire reinforces the fact that the Yanks are coming and they are coming in a huge wave greater than anytime in our past .
He offers so much for Australian Breeders in the future and his toughness will shine through with US blood and Team Daily are by far one of the best training establishments in the world today .
His sire line will work so well over all of the other future American Blood bitches that will be hitting our tracks over the next 12 months to two years .
The future is huge for FB

Ha,ha,ha I'm calling it mate this dog is just so God dam complete. Perfection at box rise, then breaks 2nd section records and motors past the finish line.
I mean Brett Lee pretty much did the same but I think Fernando just does it a little better. The difference between the two could be at box rise. Fernando would beat Brett Lee coming out and then there is no way Brett could run him down.
This dog is a superior race dog by one length

That's a major call Ray
LOL Ray, All good mate, it's a refreshing change from all the other rubbish to be excited about a great race dog like Fernando Bale
He could well be the greatest since Brett Lee, faultless early, superior pace across all first 2 sections + finishing speed
I agree with most of you, he is the most exciting sprinting dog in this country since El Grand Senor & the great Brett Lee
Pedigree wise, I agree with Doug and with Kevin to some extent
He has a pedigree that could turn this country upside down and could create the new sire line here we have been looking for, for a couple of decades

Yes this guy is a super star and i will predict he will be the first dog to break the million mark. I think the only thing that will let him down as a sire is that he is small. 29kg is the size of most talented bitches these days.
Do you think this will be a concern for breeders?

Brad, Brett Lee was 29kg. Think that scared them off?

Hence the comparisons i guess but todays market people seem to be going bigger and bigger for sires, Hence maybe why bekim hasnt had the patronage that a metro track record holder should have

Big Daddy Cool wasn't big either. Understand what you mean though with people often liking to put size into their litters but to me speed and ability is easily an overriding factor to size.

Many have said Fernando Bale is the best since Brett Lee.
It's an interesting comparison between the pair after 21 career starts - EXTERNAL LINK

I seem to remember a quote from Paul wheeler where he was now looking to go to smaller sires with the likes of xylia allen because he wanted to get his dogs a little lighter

Horsham, Warragul and Angle Park. Fernando Bale hold the second split records at Sandown, The Meadows and Wentworth Park, and equaled the first split record at Sandown

At just 24 mths. old...The King we all know went 28.88 at Angle Pk...IF F.B. got within 2 lengths of that at any age, I would be convinced he's a better race dog...

So it seems that FB may need to head to Angle Park???
Surely that's not too much to ask of his connections. Lol.
