He will always have a stud career when he is finished.

He has achieved so much in such a short amount of time.

However, there is more money in racing him right now

I am hearing that many stud dogs in NSW have not had any services for stud dogs sold this month yet, so not really a good time to go to stud for any dog, even a great one like him, unless it is forced upon him

But plenty of great straws for sale on GD right now.

I'd Keep racing Fernando Bale for the moment, but can't wait to get my hands on one of his straws when available....

Wins like it was a trial.

$100k to the winner. That's a lot of straws to sell.

Congrats to Paul Wheeler on breeding another brilliant dog.

And probably the hardest working team in greyhounds the dailys well deserved to both breeder and trainers.

And well done Fernando for taking the attention off the troubles the sport is facing at the moment go champ

Shakey would win 1 out of 20 against Fernando .

Bekim was a very fast dog but he would be flat out catching Fernando .

I am not taking anything away from Bekim but fernando would take a powerful dog to beat him over any 500 metre distance anywhere in the world .

He is a machine. What a prospect for stud. Great outcross for Brett lee bitches. Only dog running here that might catch him over that distance would be droopys nidge. Fernando stays fit records all over will be smashed he is still a young dog.

Realistically ya CAN'T even put JAKE in the ballpark down the road let alone rating him in the same ballpark as Fernando ! C'mon get real, 1 win off box.2 with the 3 vacant in a maiden field whose ability honestly left quite a lot 2 be desired. T/rec's mean 0 2 me . I'd take winning the GROUP.1 EGG after sweeping the entire series clean + all the p/money b4 a t/rec run in a maiden. Watch the racing style of Fernando & Jake. Not hard 2 come 2 a conclusion in what I see ! But everybody is certainly entitled 2 their own personal opinion Michaele. Fernando is 1 hot customer !

Just your thoughts though...

In REALITY...can ONLY go on times run...

Shakey beats both...his run was 520 mts...(can anyone time him at Wenty for just 515 mts...???)

Don't know exactly how G-D come up with 'Form' pts...but they have Shakey way ahead...

WHAT was Shakeys 515 split...???

Who's to know IF he(Shakey) could be doing what F.B. is doing now...???

1 race YES we ALL know that...just saying Shakey was in THAT 1 race...arguably the fastest ever...???...he still had to 'do it' which he did...

Just a month or two apart age wise...Fernando still about 6 lengths off Shakey even with more experience at the track...

BOTH very very nice dogs..NO argument there...
