Fernando bale is no doubt a fast dog, but how many track records has he broken? how many decent pups will he produce?
can't be put in anywhere near the same class as brett lee.

The only reason he hasn't broken any track records is because they are bypassing all these country cups etc to focus on the big races, unlike Brett Lee. Fernando had 2 looks at Ballarat and the second time he went close to it, and first look at Geelong he went 3 lengths off BMO's record.

If they wanted him to break records they'd take him all over the country and do it, simply! But that's not that plan

We had a dog many years ago that was very quick from the boxes WP record holder etc Gliders Son CLICK HERE threw winners but ......Matt is right maybe step him out for some horse shoe tracks the Hobart 1000 is a nice race 3lgths or 2/10ths off a track record is a long way in doggy speak especially on 1 turners like Hobart etc ....like I said earlier Shakey ran 11.34 on his run home at WP the evening after the Easter Egg ran the record of 29.07 Fernando much faster earlier but 11.7+ a lot of good dogs can run that very few run 11.5

I totally agree.

The fact that they never started him ever again really spoke volumes to me.

The dog is a fraud !!!!!!!!

Fernando on the other hand is the REAL DEAL

Gee Ray your a bit harsh on Shakey are you not so the real deal has no chinks in the old armour Ray mate that dog that ran 2nd last nite took a fair bit of space of the real deal and the real deals previous run was similar his back half other dogs can run or go faster ...no they will meet in the breeding barn Ray and that's where their true race is ...I'll back Shakey

Bit irrelevant if there's dogs that can run the back half faster though John, you seem to be forgetting they can't run the first half anywhere near as quick. The only important factor is what they run overall and since Fernando took home the big cheque I'm pretty sure that makes him the winner.

Just judging a dog on a run home is pretty pointless I think, Surgeon ran home quick, so did Sand Burner, Texas Gold.... how did they all go?

Not saying Shakey can't make it, no risk he had a motor but until his pups do it on the track I'll wait and see because we didn't see enough of him on the racetrack to judge him just on that for mine.

Shakey's track record was every bit as good as we will see for a long time irrespective of how many starts he had I know he has plenty of question marks above his head because of that non continuation of his racing career but D Pringle had a choice and he chose stud duties Wheeler also has the same choice and that's to race the dog maybe he wants this dog to win 1 million dollars gee what a milestone but Shakey also has a Milestone on his agenda and at present he has around 70 litters which equates to around 115000 dollars still pretty good moola for mine and he has the jump on any dog going to stud from here on in Jo's been thinking of bringing this girl down here CLICK HERE now I told her she can this or this CLICK HERE I told her she loses nothing going to either dog if she does this

The topic is about Fernando Bale.
It's not about who should be, or who could be the fastest from the past.
The answer to that question will be never answered.
Lets move on & keep to the topic.
