Bags meetings are a must if drumbo is to survive, looking at the future of dog racing at drumbo,im more and more convinced in order to keep racing going ,theyll have to introducethe bags.we cant go on forever racing for 3/4 hours once a week.in this current financial market.even your corner shop couldnt survive on that.mr mc adams seen the writing on the wall, and bailded.can you doggy men give us some feedback on this.with the price of energy and fuel going up an up its nigh impossible.

Barney theres not a track in the country with the atmosphere or crowd like theres been at drumbo since its opened and the betting market is out of this world. Its far busier than dublin on a sat night. Theres nothing like a Saturday night in drumbo as it has it all! Is the dogs in the north to run bags meetings?

Thats all very well cormac, that great saturday night your banging on about wont sustain a track with the overheads they have, public trails have 25 dogs or less.the great atmosphere dosnt pay the bills.theres 8 staff to pay, if it wasnt for the club money shoring up the races on saturday night god knows what would happen.third place money has gone, which by the way was never heard of in dog racing, even derry is paying third .as i said 3/4 hours a week wont cut it.if energy prices keep on rising were gonna be in trouble.no matter how you sugar coat it .

Yes the atmosphere is great for 3/4 hours then thats it,wake up and see the public trails day 25 dogs on a good day with 8 staff to pay, fuel for the tractor electric .the truth is no third place money, derry pay it probably the smallest track in ireland.dont be surprised if they remove second place.if it wastnt for the club shoring up the prize money .you,d be racing for a lot less.you talk about shelbourne are you having a laugh the prizemoney down there is5 or 6 times more.when your out 20 fuel and 10 entry fee your getting 60 quid.again bags is the only way drumbo will survive great atmosphere when your going home beaten a head for second place in 18.10 eh.

Barney I could write a reply to all your negatives but whats the point! You must be one of a very select few with negatives about drumbo. It wasnt long ago we had no tracks. To compare shelbourne who are way out on there own with prizemoney from a government backed kitty is just silly. As expensive as fuel is Id dare say its a score of diesel to drumbo for u now. Anyway as it was well advertised the AGM was tonight I hope you were there to air your grievances.

Ps long live drumbo.
