Terrific win in the Group 2 Maitland Gold Cup, from a red hot field.
He's building an impressive resume, with a Track Record, the Longwood Coursing Championship and 2 wins over Aston Bolero.
Breeders would surely consider him if he goes to stud, given his dam line & the success of his siblings

Firstly congrats Geoff. Well done on a great win.

Secondly Rod very hard to disagree with you. Very fast dog, but more importantly a hell of a dam line. It is dam lines like this that will be critical to breeders taking a chance on new season sires.

So when, not if, Geoff makes him available, I am sure he will approach it in the context of incentivising breeders to use him and give him a chance.

Some of these dogs that have just gone to stud at near on $2,000 service fees will simply not get enough bitches to have a chance to make it. Personally I just don't get what they are thinking.

Congats to both Geoff and Michael Eberand

Irrespective of that he has cemented himself as a leading stud contender being a genuine speed son of Bella Infrared out of a group class bitch who keeps on producing Group class dogs

However, in this environment I agree with you Andrew, big freshman stud fees are a thing of the past IMHO

John suggest you create your own topic such as 'what do you think of this match up........' if you want the positives and the negatives........or not.

Aussie is off to a good start with Ebby Infrared winning at Maitland in a flying 24.79 last week to go with his Wenty wins where he has broken 30 and gone 17.90 to the back mark.

A couple of first starters now hitting the tracks today with nice wins by :-

- Kai Valley Rocks at Warnambool , out of Rosie Rocks breeder Rohan Gladman.

- Tuesday’s Gone at Shepparton , out of Until Tuesday breeder Glenn Rounds

Both dogs beginning brilliantly and showing great chase and pace meaning plenty more wins in store .

Also nice runs by Roger Rocks and Quick Express, both will have wins not far away .

There are a couple of very fast break ins hitting the track in the next few months .

I have a Becky Bale pup bred by Belinda King and purchased from an advertisement on here, as well as know 2 others from that litter and they are brilliant pups, with chase and temperament like their dad , (though of course I am bias).

Hi Belinda - note your litter to Aussie - what is your opinion of their temperament? I have a bitch who chases well but is frightened of strangers, looking for outgoing pups. What was his stud fee?
Thanking you in advance..cheers Craig (0430 474274)

hi Craig you wont have a problem with chase they chase every thing and anything and they wont be frightened of strangers but in saying that you have too handle them and all pups for that matter from about 4 weeks old and every chance you get to play with them will only be beneficial to there up bringing. they have a great temperament I don't think you can go wrong using him for your bitch I think the stud fee is around the 2k mark hope that helps you cheers belinda
