He had an operation on Friday to remove chipped bone from his hock region on both left and right legs. The left side had 2 bone chip fragments removed and the Right side had 1, we are not sure when it happened but would have restricted him dramatically in the run. All going well he will be back in Work in 5-6 weeks so will be looking to hit his straps come Australian cup time. How are the pups coming along?

Super run last night in his first go at 450 since his operation!! Zoom out ran some exceptional first sections and for Lightning frank to run her down in that time was a huge effort first up!! He will build on his fitness now and Im sure he will be back winning some quality races very soon

Awesome mate, was a huge effort. Hopefully he stays sound and is able to show just how good he is... his young pups are looking great in the yard. All keen and neither take a backwards step. If the bitches continue to grow the way they are theyll be 30kg race bitches.

Credit has to go to Matt Wright for a pretty special training job with this dog. A lot of dogs dont come back after these sort of injuries and the patience he has shown to get this dog back to this level is a class act

Ive got no doubt he is the best dog on the country when he is on, runs crazy sectionals everywhere , Meadows 4.93 & 17.40 is just off the clock. Im not e breeder but would have no hesitation biuying pups by him especially with BMO lines.
Lots of credit to the trainer for getting him to this point after injury

He throws a beautiful looking pup. The bitches are big. Neither of the pups take a backward step.

Walking out the boxes and storming home to snatch the win... MOST dogs would NEVER of got the job done from there.

Agree but he's a 2 time Group 1 winner against country dogs that didn't even go BON... Nothing against the dog, he's a beauty... Just don't think it was a brilliant run... But different eyes see different things... Just good to see him back...

This dog may very well be the next KING of the Australian sires. I think he is also going to be huge success with the Irish broods eventually

He has all the attributes Ray but in the current climate breeders are all going for proven sires, it makes it tough for new sires to make their mark when regardless of the price breeders are only prepared to go for proven Sires Fernando and Barcia cant service everything so If a sire can throw good pups in limited matings then people may give him a chance.

Hi Brad. I've only ever used new sires. Cape Hawke was $700 Banjo Boy was free. Sulzanti was $700 Hostile was $800 Worm Burner was free.
These new sires starting at $1650 is off putting for me and probably others in my situation.
By the way, I love the dog

Send me a message if your interested in using him Im sure we can work something out!! The $1650 was at the recommendation of the stud master, Paul is obviously one of the leaders in the industry in that area but if breeders want to use him we are more than happy to have a chat.
