Bit like building a house if foundation isnt there it wont last.There are charts that tell you of percentage loss but I think you still get the cream coming to the top in later generations.

I think Skipping Chick was hugly influential probably the greatest ever and is coming to the fore again in many top dogs at present. probably John Mullans Glenroe Bess must be up there too both through her son I'm slippy the Temlee in Irish breeding and her dam line has been highly influential too through Farloe dingle ,Oyster and Final Oyster etc.

Interesting Pitstock Park 3 x the magical 18%. Some of the older generations should not have an influence but I'm not so sure as they have multiple reps and together make up substantial amount of some pedigrees.
