Didnt You ask John he has broken in on his track for years and years and would know currently if track is slow or fast ffs. And he gives u idea with how many where there breaking in and where your pup stood u cant get any more clear from a breaker.

The question asked was how their dogs went with similar times.I dont think John with all his experience could answer the Question unless he knew their race names. Any way I DIDNT SPEAK TO HIM.

Geez Jack....how dare you ask a question mate, fair dinkum, what is it with some people, seriously,Jack just wants to know if,( & I'll try to keep it simple ),

Anyone had a pup run similar times &,

What that pup had done since ??

PS, as i was writing,Nathan has replied with examples...see,Jack's question wasn't hard now,was it.

Good onya Nathan,an answer to the question without smart alec remarks.

Nathan's response proves one thing. Break in times don't mean sh!t. As long as they chew and chase, the clock doesn't matter.

I still stand by my original comment. I've never heard anyone ask for comments when they break in and are walkers.

A Teaspoon of Black Tar with every meal and any pup will be a champion, regardless of how they break in.

Thanks Dixie., Nathan at least you understood my question.and gave some good examples
I heard from the breeder 3 others in the litter broke in city class. I know he has to go on with it ,I suppose we all would like to hear of good break in times than slow times. Yes this pup boxed well and bit on.

Posting this as a reference point for anyone looking to compare their break in times. This break in Jack was talking about was Its A Roo.

Probably what most dont speak about with regards to break in. How much work theyve had before going to the breakers? Fitted up behind the drag or pretty much straight out of the paddock? Natural or slow maturer? How much they improve from one run to the next etc. all needs evaluating against the times of your pup.

The dog in question was itsaroo. From the same litter as Deferan, Jimmy the singer, Hurrican sky. IAR won over both sprint distances at Grafton, won at Ippy over the 520 won in good time AP. Run an unlucky second in the Rocky Cup. And would have won better races if he wasn't out injured.
