Thanks guys. She amazes me sometimes. I cant thank Yachov and Lydia enough for breeding and then letting me purchase this quirky bitch. Se reared her from a baby. She is notoriously slow away in her races but that can work for her as she can miss the carnage on those first bends where most dogs are full throttle. She has really started to show her race smarts the more she races. Shes now won over 400, 500 600 and 700+ metres. It will be interesting to see how she handles Wenty without having a look at the track first? Whatever happens well enjoy the ride and hopefully shell do us and her breeders proud.
Will you be at the MDC Sandro?

It would be great to meet you Sandro? Keep your eye out for us if youd like to catch up. We have friends from Gosford coming down to share the experience with us so will be up getting a meal at some stage. Cheers

Kruger Lass did it again on Thursday night at Angle Park. That is - give me a heart attack! She came out last again and gave the two favourites the chance to clear out then proceeded to run them down and snatch the win on the line. My heart is always in my mouth every time she races - the little witch!

Morning Sandro - Apologies for not finding you at Wenty on Friday night. I imagine you would have been very busy with your girl racing in the second. She didnt get an easy run but still showed her class. Shell do you proud in the final this week. We went to the Ladbrokes Sports Bar but I couldnt see a straw hat! I made my husband (Greg) leave his hayseed bush hat in the car so maybe thats what you do as well! You could have found us in the carpark as wed been set up there since 1 pm - tables, chairs, nibblies the works! Dont know why we were getting weird looks from other trainers. It was a great experience. Bonnie did her best for us but considering all of her hurdles it was a lot to expect. Catch up another time. Cheers

Hi Bronwyn,

My apologies, sorry we missed each other. I think in between your race and the one before it they were doing the box draw for the Final so I only just got to catch your race live then got pulled away by someone else.

I was upstairs for a while early on so I wished I saw the hat.

I did go around the carpark when I got there but it was about 6.15pm so you may have already packed up the party by then.

I thought she ran a bottler seeing she had never been there; she actually handled the track well for a first look.

I hope you come back one day to Sydney for a staying race, I think she would go well here over 720m.

I hope you had a good trip and it was a positive experience for you

Our girl Kruger Lass has qualified for the final of The Bothing Stayers Cup at Gawler in SA next Sunday. It is run as one of the feature races on Gawler Gold Cup night. Bothing was an impressive Stayer some 20 years ago and set the 643 mtr track record at Gawler 18 years ago.
Last year our girl surprised everyone by coming from last to first to snatch the win. We were so excited with her win. And have the Cup proudly displayed at home.
She has made it again this year but has a huge job with the field thats presenting this year. She ran second in her heat on Monday night and ran her personal best time. But the dog that won the heat was exceptional. Zipping Neutron has had 25 wins from 50 odd starts - hes won 22 races over the 700+ distance and he has won 17 times since arriving in SA. Sounds impressive but to top that off his heat win on Monday night was just outside the 18 year old track record.
Add to that Zipping Neutrons litter brother - Zipping Highland - is also in the final having won 5 of his last 6 starts over the 643 mtrs.
So to say our girl has it a bit harder this year is an understatement. She has had a couple of niggling injuries since her big trip to Wenty for the MDC and is still a bit underdone. But one thing is for sure - you can never count her out till its over. She will give her best regardless. So good luck to all involved and thank you to GRSA and the Gawler Club for scheduling such a great night for us all.

Agree Jack. Your daughter has helped me out recently when I was having troubles placing an order (technology!!). She was very very helpful and went out of her way to get the products to me.
I love it when Vets at the track comment on her beautiful healthy coat when theyre checking her. Great products.
