I think this bloke deserves his own thread now. He added the $100K to the winner State of Origin tonight at Albion Park, to his 2 Ipswich Auction Final wins. A huge congratulations to trainers Greg, Shelly and Family and owners Donna, Vince and Family. It was such an exciting race and a great night out. He was very brave tonight and it's fantastic to see how strong he is getting. We won the same race nearly 30 years ago to the day, for 1/30th the prizemoney. Things are going incredibly well in Queensland greyhound racing at the moment. The new track now under construction only adds to the wave of success.

Very nice pup deserving of his own topic. Put away a quality field last night and looks to be a big player in upcoming Brisbane Cup heats

And a real live chance. Postman Pat went 5.47 early and got all the favours with my bloke getting galloped on, to sail to the lead. Theres more pace in next weeks final, with both Bears Bullet and Magistrate both capable of matching Pats 5.47 from the outside. Thats about as good as dogs go from box 8 at Albion. It usually sees them a 1/2 length slower to the turn.

So Pats likely to be held out going into the first bend and then its just a question of can he burn them off down the back to grab the lead and then is he left a sitting shot for Amron Boy, should he get the gun run in behind them down the back.

Intriguing final, now Postman Pat has drawn the pink.

He runs that first bend better than any dog in the field. That's his big opportunity in the final. Just hope he gets around safely.
