That's the address of the club.
but actually finding out what that actual zoning is, and means, is no easy task, with multiple maps/ views
and no infostructure development commitments on view

Yes, i believe a major developer has put the streets, lights, kerbing etc, just down the road, (west side), ready to build many hundreds of homes. Koala crossings & Appin rd upgrade required, public servants say reports may take two years to complete. Albo can import another million Labor "grifters" and voters into Australia, and find them housing, in this time period. As Graham Richardson said years ago about Labor election strategy, do and say " whatever it takes".

Surely you can contact the local council and obtain the zoning of the property. I did for another place without issue.

I remember when Barry O'Farrell won the State Election for the Liberal / National Coalition. He said, "NSW is open for sale" or words similar. They surely sold many public assets and continued for about ten years. State Labor when in government sold public assets too, and previous governments on both sides did the same, but I had never heard of any Premier or PM say those words except him.

The development of Appin has been going on for about twenty years, not because Albo is now in government. You have provided a very narrow-minded and distorted view of this matter.

Do a Land Titles search

I believe the Appin Greyhound Complex may be over 2 titles

Newcastle DID for me! Maybe a land titles search.. a friend in the real estate business could help, contact Gbota if a member, someone you know down there or someone on data who might pop in to council for you.

Bob, it's been rezoned, with other properties in the area.
As yet, no specific uses, such as residential or commercial, parkland or whatever.
The one main issue is the need for supporting infrastructure, including an alternative to Appin Rd
but one thing,s for sure. it'll be worth a truckload

Rod,

It was always going to be rezoned as there were new residential houses almost up to the side southern fence ten - fifteen years ago. Yes, youre right, its a gold mine!

Yes agree with all?? but every bit of land that can be rezoned is worth a fortune at the moment ?? estate happening all over causing prices to sore < Appin had every right to be first to be refurbished to a top venue, just look at the angles of approach around from every where?? sydney /north southeast and west ?? great location , I remember when it was a private trial track >> Bob Glover
