Let's get back on topic. According to one backseat breeder. Putting this giveaway broodbitch to MBF will almost guarantee success. To be honest he's got no idea what he's talking about, he just coat tail rider FWIW.

Fair enough, but I did read an interesting post a week or so back.
It was about great sires who were sired by obscure stud dogs.
Dogs like Fabio and Royal Assassin are criticised and could easily be labelled obscure, so there could be a story to be had at some stage ;)
Lets hope this mating produces a superstar.
Whats a backseat breeders though?
Someone who is having a crack, or someone who hasnt bred a dog in years?
Credit to anyone who puts their money where their mouth is, imo.

If you don't realise you are a backseat/tailcoat breeder you definitely are one ;)

But a breeder, none the less.
Imagine just telling everyone what theyre doing wrong and not having the intestinal fortitude to have a crack yourself-how sad would that be lol
Come on Paul, tell us how your latest litter are going.
I think datas records go back that far, but then again ;)

Your obsession with me is flattering but somewhat concerning. I'm not going to lie.

Over 35 years of owning, racing, breeding, whelping, rearing and even training. I don't think you need to have a current litter on the ground, to have an opinion.

Our last litter was Djays Octane x Two States. Diamond Flush was the fastest pup we've bred but also the lowest, ending our association with the line.

We did buy a ADB x Del Rey bitch in an attempt to get back into the damline but as I said previously she was legless

I had a hiatus from the industry after moving interstate from my acerage property to care for my aging parents after their house burnt down. I'm back in Queensland now and keeping an eye out for a brood to care for.

So there you go. You can crawl back under your rock again. Only to come out to bask in Darren's reflected glory or get all riled up by a nobodies opinion ;)

If your biggest criticism of me is that Im smart enough to realise my limitations and utilise a much, much more knowledgeable breeder than myself, well, thanks for the compliment :)
The alternative would be to take your route and ruin a perfectly good damline ;)

How to ruin a good topic about a great dog

Why don't you both take your fights to the Private Message

I admire his breeding exploits and have said so numerous times on here. I started the De Ferran thread for example. But name a damline Darren has nurtured? Damlines wax and wane, they can't be great every generation.

I don't understand if my opinion is so underwhelming, why does it get you so upset?

I agree. I apologised and asked him to do that, but he wouldn't. I asked Data to delete the previous posts by reporting them, but they didn't. So I assumed they condoned Scott's BS.

As I stated Initially, a big factor in Fabios success is using the right damline.
Stats show it works.
Fact.
Probably the same can be said for most, if not all sires but it seems plenty dont find the key.

Hey Dixie , you have to admit, and I know Im a mate of yours. But most of this crap does seem to show its head when youre involved. Your negative and undermining comments are just not called for. Your opinion is appreciated but you never seem to have much good to say. Your comments last week , calling Rons bitch useless and shouldnt be bred from when you were totally wrong and still no apology. Anyway youre probably not going to change your ways ,which is a shame as Im sure youre quite knowledgeable about the breed and could contribute positively. All the best buddy. Lets get back on topic. My Bro Fabio throws chase and strength and does produce quality offspring with some bitches. Cheers
