Greetings all.
I just wanted to share this story, if GD allows me to do so.

I have a cheap little race bitch in a syndicate. She managed to win a maiden but we all know she probably wont win many more.
Anyway, for various reasons, the trainer wanted her to find a new kennel and I had no problem with that, but being that I am working interstate, it was not easy finding a new home for a slow dog.

Eventually I found a guy who wanted to take her on. He was supposed to pick her up this morning, as the trainer had a new dog coming.
But last night the deal fell through without explanation and without answering calls.....I was left totally stranded and so was the other trainer.

I searched everywhere for a short term option and sent emails and texts to anywhere I thought might be a chance.

Then at 10.39pm, I got a call from Lars and Davina at Clancy Dog Boarding Kennels, near Gawler SA.

I explained the situation to Lars, he loves greyhounds.
Without knowing anything about me, or taking any payment, he took the bitch, first thing this morning (once I sent a screenshot of her C5 vaxx cert)
He also gave me a nice discount because I booked her in for 3 weeks.

Honestly, I have no idea what we would have done without this help.
But it is so good to know that there are some genuine folks who understand the human side of life, not just the systematic side.

And by the way, I was praying at 10.38pm.
