Hello forum,
New to racing. Looking at purchasing a dog that racers in Cannington running 380 metres under 22 seconds.
Would this dog in comparison be competitive in country VIC circuits?
Was told not too bother as she would be lucky to run 23:50 at Geelong 400 metres.
Any input would be appreciated.
Only looking at spending my money on a competitive dog for VIC race tracks and not waste my money.
Regards

Surely if you're breaking 22 at cannington its running 23.00 at Geelong/warragul and 22.6 at shepparton/warnambool/Ballarat

if that comparision is reliable the dog would only be competative at tier 3 level in victoria so should only be a half price dog. but im not saying that comparision is accurate

Thank you for your response, bitch has great bloodlines and from 100% winning litter. Was thinking of breeding with her after her career ended. Has won over 20K witch is tempting me to wonder how many tier 3 dogs win that sort of money in Vic.

She's probably a lot better than my comparison. I was just saying bare minimum she should run them times

The track record at Cannington is .54 faster than Geelong. Geelong track record is probably held by a much better dog so you could add another .3 to the times. I would expect it could run around the 22.80 at Geelong.

Hazy Daisy, Hayden. It will be a novice trainer working her. I need to start somewhere I guess.
